New packaging is awful

New package is so bad! Ive been using this product because it offers the best bang for my buck, but the last time I got the new packaging and im dealing with an ugly package on my counter top that the top is not evenly closed or sealed. Ive been wanting to try the bloom version as i mix this with bloom greens, so im going to try that next, and hope the packaging is changed by then. If I would have known I would have kept my previous container to pour into, but I didn't so bummed.

HATE THE NEW PACKAGING ,!!

I have been buying Vital Proteins for over 17 years ….Love the product but HATE THE NEW CARDBOARD CANISTER , It just took me 4 1/2 minutes to get the top off , achieved only by using a sharp knife to saw it off !! Thankfully I kept one of your former plastic canisters, into which I poured the contents. I will have to look for a new brand if you do not change back to a screw off top …. I refuse to have to fight to open the canister … takes me longer to open the canister than to drink the smoothie made with it !!

Poor packaging in shipment

Product is great, but it was shipped in a box with no packing so the cardboard cylinder and lid got damaged allowing the powder to leak out into the shipping box

To the trash

First let me say, I didn't have a problem with the package. I just followed the instructions and opened it easily. The taste, however, is pretty bad. I put one scoop in my coffee and it left a funky aftertaste. I really tried to drink it but after 3 sips, I dumped it. It was so bad, I cant bring myself to try it in anything else.

Who cares about the packaging? It’s what’s inside!

I love the product. I drink it in the morning with some hot water and a packet of crystal light. I have noticed improvement in my joints, hair and nails. Plus it helps me get the protein in that I need as well. Everyone’s complaining about the packaging. And yes, I prefer the canister packaging that they used to have. But it’s not a dealbreaker for me. Instead, I opened the package with a pair of scissors and pour it into a cute container.

Good powder but cheaply packaged for price

The new topless container is a joke - hard to open - you’ll inevitably puncture the container and no scoop inside - this is all of course to save the world hypocrisy - but it’s just to save them money. Last time for me.

Hate the new package, looking at other brands now

I am a longtime user of Vital Proteins. Unfortunately, with the switch to the crappy cardboard containers, I am now looking for another brand. I am disabled from a stroke and have reduced functionality in one hand/arm. I simply cannot open the new packaging without totally destroying it. The packaging design is one of the poorest I’ve ever seen. Oddly, it seems to affect the taste, too. This batch of collagen tasted kind of off.

First time trying Collagen

I’m cracking up at all the pictures of people trying to open this thing up. It seemed pretty easy it the pull tab and then when I saw the arrow I just unraveled a part of the lip and voila. My only complaints are that it is not flavorless, I put it in some water and it was pretty gross so I just chugged it. I also think it should come with a scooper.

Love this product!

I have been using this product for about 8 months and it is amazing. My hairstylist recommend this product and I have fine thin hair. My hair is now to the middle of my back! My nails and skin are so much healthier. The new product packaging is great and easily opened. Thank you !

Environmentally friendly

I am big fan of your product and have been using it for over three years. I want to compliment you on the new packaging. I had no problem opening it and anything that adds less to the landfill is a winner!

Grea product - Bad packaging

Love the product but the container is impossible to open. I am going to have to use a knife to cut into the top to access the collagen. I understand cutting down on plastic, but I don't know who thinks this packaging works. I'd love to see a video of the packaging designer open the container.

Nice container

Yall are making it harder than it actually is on yourselves! I used this years ago when it was plastic still and after seeing the reviews of the new container I was a little nervous... it was pretty easy and straight forward to open.

This is magical fairy dust....I have 2 cups of coffee each morning, with a scoop of these collagen peptides in each cup; my hair, skin, and joints have never been better. I am a dedicated Vital Proteins customer for life. (Wish I had started this regimen twenty years ago!)

New cannister is HORRIBLE

Have to destroy the lid to get to product. Thankfully I saved my last plastic cannister so I manage to (unsafely) use a knife to destroy the lid, then dump into the plastic cannister. Please fix this issue. I'm all about recycling, but this is unsafe and ridiculous.
