Smell is unbearable

Smell is so strong I unfortunately didn’t read the other reviews before I ordered because I didn’t think smell would have been an issue but I got it today and within minutes I ran it outside because it smelled so strong. I’m reading the box and it says EPA TSCA compliant for formaldehyde. That’s gotta be the smell. I planned on painting it but I’ll have to research what will remove the smell otherwise as much as I love the design the smell is unbearable. It sat in my house for literally 2 minutes before It was only in my house for 5 minutes max and it took almost 3 hours for the smell to dissipate in my house.

Smells like mildew

I ordered even though the only review said that the it had a harsh smell. Well…mine did too. It’s so strong even after unboxing and leaving in the garage for several days. The smell is overwhelming of mildew! Too bad because it’s a great looking piece of art!
