I love this water fountain and it is as pictured. They include these round sponges. Those are to put in the cups to prevent splashing & it works! No splash! The cord is about 3-4' in length.

In order to turn this on daily, I have to wire an outdoor extension cord through the front doors, and into the living room. 4- stars because it's a little bit top heavy and hard to get balanced just right.

It makes a nice addition to my back patio with its soothing sound. It was pretty easy to put together, considering I have never put a fountain together before. I like that the size is just perfect, it's not too big or too small.

Im a spa girl at heart, so it's right up my alley to have fountains and decor around outside to welcome people! This was easy to set up, no tools needed at all. I do suggest following the guidelines of using distilled water, and keeping it out of sunlight to avoid algae growth. After I added the little sponges to the cups, it made a huge difference in splashing effect. Much nicer and smooth flowing.
