Q: What is the difference between the Preston glasses and the Bar Essentials glasses?

A: These two glasses use different glass molds and while they look similar, they do not have the same dimensions with the Bar Essentials tumbler (16 oz) being slightly taller. For any further questions, you can email customercare@libbey.com.

Great glasses set!
These glasses were just what I was looking for. They are a good size and are a heavy, sturdy material. I've washed them in the dishwasher several times and they still look good. Highly recommended.

Brand has gone downhill
I used to use Libby glassware they were always heavy and solid and could withstand a lot. Simply picking up a glass and bumping it on my counter caused it to shatter. They have gone down in quality. I’m not sure if they are using a different factory or producer but do not bother with them

Perfect for us.
These glasses are simple in design, but so much more. Easy to wash by hand, but water does not pool on the bottom of the glass when upside down in the dishwasher. Easy to grip and feels stable in the hand.

The Perfect Glasses
I spent several months looking for simple 16-ounce glasses that looked just like these. The quality of everything I found wasn’t great due to either cloudiness, ripples in the glass, or the entire set of glasses not looking the same as each other. I purchased these glasses and they were exactly what I’ve been searching for and more! The quality is amazing, the weight is perfect, and I’ve gotten several compliments on them when hosting dinners. I only ordered one set but will definitely be buying another set before the holidays.

I was looking for a thick glass for beverages with ice that you didn't have to refill every two sips. The larger glass fit that requirement. I may never use the smaller tumbler, but it came as a set.

OK but not great.
They are OK but nothing close to the quality of to my previous set. These are not the duratuff quality. They feel a little weak. Time will tell. My previous set lasted 11 years.

The glasses have a good weight on them for them to stay in place when the table moves or get bumped. Dishwashing or hand washed the glasses come out super shiny. The glass is not thin where it would break easily in the dishwasher or other situations. The set is 16 pieces so it would be great for a small dinner party or get together.

The rocks glasses come in handy for gatherings and just a nice glass of your favorite drink after a long day. They also stack together nicely so you take up less cabinet space.
