August Hill L-Shaped Home Office Desk Soft White - Sauder

This is a great desk at this price point! It arrived in good condition. It takes awhile to put together because of the size, but the instruction book is easy to follow, which you don't see often with furniture you have to assemble yourself. I've had the desk for a few years now and it still looks great, other than any dings I've accidentally put in the desktop, which is to be expected with the type of material. What's really amazing is Sauder's customer service. I recently cracked a few large pieces of the desk beyond repair trying to move it around. I was able to order exact replacement parts on their website and call their customer service to pay for the shipping, and I have my desk fixed a week later! They were very pleasant to work with and helped me get the issue sorted (even though it was a mistake on my part) without having to jump through tons of hoops. I would highly recommend purchasing from them based on that alone!

Easy to follow instructions

I had numerous issues with the directions and unmarked pieces referred to in the directions. Thankfully customer service provided me with dimensions so I was able to identify the pieces. Thumbs up to Sauder customer service.

Desk looks beautiful in its new home. However, instructions were at times difficult to understand and most of the parts were labeled. Overall a fun build.

The seat is functional and looks nice. It's quite an upgrade from the old desk we had in that space

I love this desk. It's has a sleek contemporary feel, nice mystic oak touch, and black accent top. Assembly was a pain but very worth it. Some components parts like D14 and CC require replacement ASAP.

Easy to assemble. All the parts were there and the instructions clear. It's not heirloom quality but well built for the price.

Giving this desk 2 stars because it is a really pretty desk and the instructions were great. However it is very poorly made. Maybe I just got a bad one but holes didn’t lines up for several pieces, screws were entirely too long causing them to pop out and break in several areas. I’m very disappointed as I really do love the look of this desk. That said, Target has been very helpful with helping me process a return. The desk is already fully assembled so returning it to a store is impossible so they’ve helped schedule a pickup with a freight company with the desk as is. I will be ordering a different, similar version in hopes it made better.

I could not install the drawer because the holes were wrongly drilled. The most important part of the desk!

Love the desk. It's so pretty. The only reason I gave only 4 stars is because it was missing some of the hardware and my husband had to improvise to get it put together. Other than that, I love it!!

Nice farmhouse look. Perfect for what I needed. Wish the lower shelf could hold a printer. Directions were funny with the little side comments they printed in there.

Great for the home office. Takes a while to assemble but not difficult. Same issue I've had with most desk is the drawer guide rails tend to detach rather easily. I need to repair on of the rails. Overall a good desk at this price point

I got the desk and it's a nice desk but the shelf was shipped without the proper holes drilled out and I had to wait 8 days for a new one to be shipped. Very frustrating

I got this desk for my home office. I love that I can have one side for my work monitors and one side for my personal laptop. It is a great size and was easy to put together.

I am very happy with my purchase! the details and quality of it is nice. I am pleased with it especially for the price it cost. I just found it difficult to assemble but i still give it 2 thumbs up !!

Assembly took me twice as long as it should have. Half the parts and pieces had no identification and the assembly instructions lacked details in some areas making it a guessing game. If youre not mechanically inclined, youll have a tough time assembling it.

I bought this desk as a reward for working from home successfully since the pandemic began. I am a 56 year old woman who wanted to put it together without any help - and I did!! The instructions were clear (and humorous - thank you Sauder script writer), and the parts were exactly as depicted. Now that it is complete, I have since ordered (and assembled myself) four bookshelves; and today I just ordered a TV stand and coffee table. I am in love with Sauder, and highly recommend their products.
