Q: what's the measurements from the floor to the seat top? I think your description of 31 inches from the floor to the seat top means the top of the backrest. Please confirm this.

A: Hi! Yes, the 31 inches is the total height including the backrest. The seat height from the floor to the top of the seat is 17 inches.
