Great purple shampoo. The pigmentation is very strong and reminds me of Olaplex except this doesn’t dry out my hair like Olaplex did.

Undisclosed nut allergens caused me to have a reaction to kukui nut oil that was not clearly marked on the bottle

Doesn’t rinse. Hair feels heavy/greasy and just weird. No other shampoo and conditioner has ever done this. Plus it leaks everywhere.

Smells awful. Throwing it away. I previously used the Saltair Recovery & Restore shampoo and conditioner, and the smell was wonderful. So disappointing.

Absolutely love how awesome my hair feels, and looks after using. I get my hair highlightened, and when I use the purple shampoo it brings back the highlights as if they were just done when they start to dull. Highly recommend

great smell, that’s it. My hair feels horrible after using this shampoo/conditioner combo. I’ve washed my hair 3 times the same day since using this product and it still feels horrible. I’m returning this product asap.

I am not understanding any of the negative reviews for this product. I bought the shampoo yesterday at my local Target and used it today. The pump bottle was fine and worked as it should, the smell was subtle and not overwhelming, and best of all this product has actually worked and toned down all the ghastly yellow/brass in my hair. Here is how I used it: A couple days ago I had dyed my hair at home and instead of the color being an overall silver-ash blonde as promised, there was quite a bit of brassy yellow. Disaster! So I stopped in Target and bought this on a whim. First of all I washed my hair with regular shampoo to get rid of any existing product that may have still been on my hair, then I shampooed with Saltaire. Absolutely saturated hair, rubbed it in and left on hair for close to 10 minutes whilst I got on with the rest of my shower, scrubbing, exfoliating, shaving etc. Rinsed it out and applied my regular conditioner for a couple minutes. Rinsed, and blow dried. My hair is now a fabulous color, gone from yellow candyfloss to a sublime shiny, silvery, ashy blonde (which is what it should have been in the first place according to the hair dye I used, hmmmm). I cannot recommend this enough. It works much better than other purple shampoos I have tried, has safer ingredients and is a pretty good price. Ignore the bad reviews, this works.

This is the best purple shampoo I have tried in years. I would recommend to all my blondes who need a refresh’s without going to the salon. I used it once and everyone thought i got my hair refreshed.

I used about 1/2 the bottle before I gave up on the shampoo (I have the conditioner too). It has a nice smell, cute packaging, the purple color is persistent so probably works against brassy tones, but it stripped my hair of any moisture. After rinsing this shampoo out, it feels like I have washed my hair with dish soap. Even free hotel shampoo is gentler on my hair. The complementary conditioner was not enough to undo the crispy, rough texture that this shampoo leaves in my hair. Yesterday I finally uncapped the bottle and washed it down the drain so I wouldn’t feel guilted into putting it on my hair again.

Save yourself and do not purchase! I’ve only used pureology in the past but it’s a bit pricey so I decided to give this a chance, ruined my hair! And the bottle is horrible it’s leaks!

Favorite purple shampoo to prevent brassy yellow tones. And I’ve tried almost every purple shampoo and conditioner!

I am a huge fan of this brands body wash so I decided to give the shampoo a shot. Unfortunately it did nothing for my hair. I didn’t notice any kind of toning like previous purple shampoos I’ve used and my hair texture was so course and tangled. The bottle also made a huge mess. Will not purchase again nor recommend

Naturally brunette, it can be hard to keep my blonde highlights toned. I’ve tired so many purple shampoos and none work as well as this one does. It doesn’t dry my hair out either!

Stained our marble when the bottle leaked. Would throw it out if you have a nice shower.

Love the product itself, however the bottle is AWFUL. the pump doesn’t work as others have stated so I have to unscrew the whole thing in the shower.

The smell of this shampoo is heavenly! Really works well as a purple shampoo as well!!

This leaves such a gross feeling residue in my hair no matter how hard I try to rinse it out. I’ve never thrown away a bottle of shampoo but this is going straight in the trash.
