Easy solution
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed John Frieda Violet Crush for Blondes shampoo. I loved how it helped my hair look cooler, took almost all yellow undertone out. Easy packaging and pleasant scent. Love the combo with conditioner, made my hair softer and shinier. Highly recommend it for blonde highlights.

Love this Violet Crush hair care
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used the John Frieda Violet Crush for blondes. It has toned the brassyness and brightened my blonde. Makes my hair so soft and the smell is good.

Works okay but drying
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product has more of a blue hue to a true purple. That being said, it does remove a lot of brassiness to my natural blonde hair that has built up over the years. It has a good smell, not too strong and is slightly sweet. It’s hard to place the actual scent profile. Make sure to immediately rinse your hands after each application as this will stain your hands. You’ll also see more of the blue color come out this way as it’s more noticeably blue than some other purple shampoos I’ve used. Compared to my regular shampoo, this was very drying on my hair.

Purple shampoo
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this product. It doesn't have an overpowering sent and it helped take the brassiness out of my hair and lightened it a little.

Works great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shampoo is great, it really seems to lighten my blonde hair that has turned brassy from my water. I use it 1-2 times per week. It leathers great, and smells good.

Keeps my blonde bright & brass free!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great purple shampoo for reducing brassiness and keeping blonde hair looking bright. The pigment is strong and I noticed a difference after a few uses. It can be a little drying, so I recommend using a good conditioner afterwards. Overall, a great value and effective for maintaining cool blonde tones!

Make my blonde hair better
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shampoo is amazing on my dry colored brassy hair. I have very dry frizzy hair and this shampoo has worked wonders for my hair. It’s a purple shampoo and so it lathers welll and I combine it with Violet Crush blonder conditioner and leaves my hair soft and manageable.

Magic!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this shampoo! I had very bronze blond hair and this really lightened up my hair. I used to use dry shampoo everyday to make my hair lighter and now I don't have to. I love the scent. It smells like I got my hair done at a nice salon.

Great purple shampoo!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone who always highlights her hair, purple shampoo is necessary. This one definitely does the job. Not only did it help dappen the brassiness of my highlights, it also left my hair and scalp feeling very clean!!

Purple Shampoo
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is pretty good. My hair is light brown but can get brassy from red dye that was in it once upon a time. It does minimize the brass but I don't see a huge difference that a true blonde would.

No more Brassiness
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received John Frieda Violet Crush for Blondes Shampoo free in exchange for my honest review. After using it a few times, I noticed my blonde hair looked brighter and less brassy without making my hair feel overly dry like some purple shampoos can. The shampoo has a nice lather, smells fresh, and a little goes a long way. I also liked that it toned down yellow tones fairly quickly, especially after just one wash. My hair felt clean and soft afterward, although I still used conditioner to keep extra moisture in my ends. The violet pigment is strong, so I made sure not to leave it on too long. The only downside for me was that if used too often, it can leave a slight purple tint on very light blonde pieces, so I’d recommend using it once or twice a week instead of daily. I think it’s a great option for blondes looking to maintain a cooler tone and reduce brassiness at home.

This product works really well for blonde hair. Use caution when using this and dont put it on for too long or it will stain your hair purple or your nails. overall this made brassy hair a nice cool icy blonde

Essential for platinum hair
I’ve used this purple shampoo for years, since first loving the results. Unlike other purple shampoos I’ve tried, I genuinely notice results after a single wash. It also leaves my hair feeling clean and healthy. It works so well that I don’t even use the accompanying conditioner. I very much recommend this product to anyone with blonde or platinum hair.

Takes yellow out of hair with first use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shampoo took yellow out of my blonde hair with first use! It’s violet color. Leathers amazing! It moisturizes the hair and doesn’t strip it. The scent is amazing and lasts. A compliment getter.

Great shampoo for blondes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great smell, suds better than to be expected. I did not notice to much of a difference the first use but better results after the second use. Be sure to read the instructions and leave on for a minute plus. Overall great product

Best Shampoo for Blondes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, I love the packaging. It's clean looking without a lot of extra wording. And the word "shampoo" is clear enough to read while you have soap suds and water running down your face. That said, I have now used this for a week and noticed a big difference in my medium blonde hair. There are now highlights! But best of all, no brassiness and it doesn't strip my hair of color either. It's gentle enough for everyday use. I've used another purple shampoo in the past, and it wasn't as good as this one.

Keeps Blonde Fresh
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The John Frieda Violet Crush shampoo and conditioner work well at keeping brassy tones out of my blonde hair. The shampoo is very pigmented, but I had zero issues with it staining my hands or my shower. It also left no purple deposits in my hair. It did not feel drying, as some purple shampoos can. The conditioner worked well at smoothing and detangling. I will definitely continue using this as needed for a refresh between highlights.
