[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m not sure about this full sized product from John Frieda but it didn’t clean my hair the way I thought it didn’t really help with brassy tones either it made my hair stiff and looking dull. I just can’t write much more about this product.

Best Purple Shampoo Ever

I love it, my hair feels cleans and actually tones the brassiness - which my hard water makes it so very difficult to keep my icy tones! I will continue to buy this after I use this bottle!!

Love the color but not sure it does much
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The conditioner has a very true purple hue which I loved compared to the shampoo. It didn’t really condition as well as a regular conditioner for my hair as it is thick and curly. I need a lot of hydration. The brassiness that has built up over the years has been reduced when combined with the pairing shampoo. The scent is light and sweet, not over powering. I have trouble identifying the scent profile but I wouldn’t say it’s floral. I’m torn to recommend because of the hydration factor for my curls.

I leave it For few minutes after shampoo and post rinse, it makes my hair soft and manageable. I have dry frizzy blonde hair and this has helped to mak my hair soft and moisturized.

I have used purple shampoos and conditioners before, as well as blue ones for orange brassiness. I used the John Frieda Violet Crush for about 3 weeks and saw a significant difference. Even after the first use my hair looked whiter. Where my highlights were a golden color, they are now closer to white than yellow. Even my hair dresser was surprised to see how much blonder I was. Be aware that the product is to be used once a week. Overuse can really dry out your hair.
