Made well, but the rod supplied to put on and off the cover was too short unless your a 6ft 5" basketball player. Doesn't make sense to fold up a rod and put it in a pouch! The cover should have a built in rod. My old umbrella had one. There is a grommet hole and channel in the Nature Spring cover for a built in rod, the rod thickness you supplied did not fit in and would have been too short if it did. I was lucky because I re-used my old umbrella rod that fit in the grommet and slid it in the channel that was there, it stays in permanently, and it is easy to reach the top of the umbrella. Much better and fast to take the cover on and off. See photo rod in Nature Spring cover grommet with my old umbrella rod inside. Needs common sense design. Hope this helps.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As I removed the Offset Outdoor Umbrellas Cover from the plastic packaging, I discovered a metal rod was included. At first, I wasn’t sure of its purpose because no instructions were included but I later found a grommet on the cover that clued me into realizing that the rod is for lifting the cover into the air. As I approach my umbrella, I begin to wonder if it might be easier to unzip the cover partially to expose the opening so I could help navigate it onto the umbrella better. This definitely seemed to help. I inserted the end of the metal rod into the grommet and extended it with one arm while maneuvering the cover with my other arm. At first, it was a bit of a challenge (I’m 5’11” and still had to stand on my tip-toes) but I made a game of it (kind of like a carnival but without a prize) and managed to wrangle it on. Then, with a whip of one hand on one side and the metal rod on the other, I was able to twist and tug on the cover and pull it into place (as much as possible). It never pulled down to fully cover the umbrella because the solar panel on my particular umbrella would not fit into the top portion of this cover. I would expect that most typical umbrellas would fit nicely. The cover has a strap that wraps around and secures with a buckle to help secure it further and keep it from blowing away during heavy winds. The material is very durable and well-made with good stitching and the zippers glide nicely. I would recommend this cover to anyone looking to protect their umbrella from the elements. Just be prepared to do a little wrangling.

My husband put it over our umbrella and zipped it within a couple minutes, so very easy to use. The material is water wicking so I think it will keep the elements out! Very excited about it.
