Q: There are two stem devices that look identical to me and have the same box but one is 19.99 and this one is 17.79 what is the difference? They both say they contain the device plus one refill. They have identical product boxes so I’m a bit confused.

A: Get Cedar wood blocks. Moths do not like the smell of Cedar.

A: I have not purchased it yet but per the picture, it says one device and 1 refill so I assume you are paying for the device and 1 cartridge rather than having to buy the device and get a cartridge.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed the STEM flying inspects trap about 3 weeks ago when the flies of spring started to show up. It has helped keep them under control as the doors open and close so much. I was able to use it upright in my kitchen but it does rotate to use sideways if needed. Very light weight. I was about to replace the refill easily and fast. It doesn’t look tacky or out of place in the kitchen. Definitely recommend

I also enjoy that it lights up because it acts as a night light wherever it is being used. I’m able to keep up the same one without having to refill it Too often, and the price point is good for the amount of time that you can use it. Very simple to use, and easy to just plug in and not have to worry about it.

It's fits nicely in an outlet with enough space to still utilize the plug beneath. It doesn't have a scent or make any kind of noise; it's just like a nightlight the bugs are attracted to. The area the bugs get stuck to is hidden behind the light, so they're not visible. Overall, this product is amazing, and I would highly recommend!

I don’t think the adhesive lasted the full 30 days but it did trap a fair amount of gnats and fruit flies. The light is fine if it’s in a room I’m not in all the time, so it makes sense in the kitchen where most bugs are anyway. I wouldn’t want to have it in my direct eyesight for a long time though.

I don't know what the reason is but they did not seem to be attracted in my house. The weather is warm and I have seen a fly, mosquito, moth, and a couple of gnats. I don't have a whole lot of insects yet, But in the summer I definitely get flies with my dog's going in and out of the house. I was hopeful to have found a new product but this was not it. If you have a higher volume maybe it does better at attracting them I'm not sure. I do have a couple of other products from this company and will test them to see if they do any better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great little gadget. Every once in a while I get a bothersome little fly in the house I can’t seem to catch. I plugged this bad boy in and when I got up the next morning, it had done its magic. And I couldn’t really tell until I looked in between the panels, so it’s nice that it conceals what it catches so you don’t have to look at the bugs or change the panel every time it catches something. Bonus point, it actually makes for a cool LED looking nightlight. It would be nice if it came in different colors, but I did like the blue. I didn’t notice any scent from it either, so that’s a plus.
