  • A: The "buttons" on the unit are not physical buttons, but touch sensitive, and so ridiculously hard to get to activate that there might as well not even be buttons on the unit itself.

    Works well but base was broken.

    It's a nice sturdy quiet fan. However, the weight under plastic base came broken off in two pieces. I luckily had speciality glue and glued the two broken pieces back on under the base. Obviously this item was dropped in store or dropped during delivery. Regardless, it does not affect the operation of the fan, which does work well, and the remote is handy.

    Fan that would blow itself over

    100% DO NOT RECOMMEND! My partner wasted 45 minutes just trying to get the base and bottom post put together. The L-screw refused to go more than a quarter inch into the hole it belonged in. if one were to have ignored this and built the rest of the fan, it would assuredly blow itself over because of the base not being sturdy. If my partner could give it 0 stars, they would.

    I have bought this fan twice so far. The first one lasted me a few years but then started to make a rattling noise so I just went ahead and bought a new one. I had the second one for not even a year until it started rattling and squeaking so loud no matter how much I tried to tighten it all together again. I would lose sleep because I would get annoyed with the sound. I'm the type of person that has to sleep with a good air flow and quiet fan even during the cold seasons so I was disappointed it didn't last long. I had declined the coverage because I knew it was a good fan which was my mistake. It's just sitting in my garage now.

    Too Loud

    Love this fan

    I love this fan and wanted to write a review because of all the negative reviews I’m seeing. I’m coming back to buy my third one. I bought my first one and was surprised at how strong the airflow was. My fan that this was replacing might have just not worked well or been old, but I didn’t feel it very much if it wasn’t on medium or high power. This one is on low most of the time and produces strong airflow. I tend to run warm so this is very important to me. It’s not especially quiet, but it’s not overly loud either. I purchased my first one to go in the living room so any noise it makes isn’t really a problem. I liked this fan so much that I bought another one to go in my bedroom, partly because I like to have a fan on me while I sleep and partly to have a little bit of white noise. As mentioned, I came back to buy another one to put down in the basement where I work out since the weather is getting warmer. I haven’t had a problem with parts missing like some people have mentioned. I bought my first one about a year ago and it still works great. I would recommend! Other things to mention: -It’s sturdy and not especially light but not too heavy for me to carry up and downstairs before I had one to go in my bedroom -Love the remote!

    Defective parts that wont secure!

    I purchased one last year and liked it so I purchased another for a small room! Unfortunately the parts are defective and no matter how you align the base( fan part) it never tightens! It loosens causing the fan to become unattached and stop rotating. We’ve tried everything to no avail! It has a heavy base but the fan is useless if it isn’t properly hinged! The manufacturer really needs to address this issue because I’m seeing similar complaints as my own! I paid $49.99 for mine last year and it’s just sitting because we have no use for it, it’s defective and past the return policy ugh!
