    great little machine

This is my 2nd 1700 psi Greenworks pressure washer. I got at least 6 seasons out of the first one. It still works but it leaks and is making an odd noise so I decided to get a new one. It came today and I just finished washing my plastic privacy fence and some windows. Works great. I am a 71 yr old lady and enjoy cleaning my own property and this unit makes it easy.

    Amazing lil’ unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just purchased this a couple nights ago. Upon initial use, I tried all the different nozzles for cleaning the concrete driveway. I found the turbo nozzle to be adequate. However, it does make the pressure washer run a little bit louder. The nozzle I found works best for cleaning The concrete is the Yellow 15 Which does an AMAZING job. I purchased this little unit to replace my gas powered pressure washer, which is a 3300 psi and 3.1gpm Unit… I gotta say this little green works 2500 psi gives it a darn good run for the money… No more gas… No more fumes… No more neighbors complaining about the noise… Just simply AMAZING… absolutely would recommend.

    2500 PSI pressure Washer Review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the 2500 psi pressure washer to remove varnish and dirt from knotty pine paneling on our screen-enclosed porch. The unit performed well, removing the spar varnish thoroughly (and some of it was still in quite good condition).

    Pressure washer that doesn't wash?

Can I give 0 stars because I can't get it to work? Hours on the phone with support, instead of getting work done.
1 reply from Greenworks team - 16 days ago
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear about your experience and the time spent trying to get the unit working. That is understandably frustrating, and not the experience we want for our customers. If the pressure washer isnot producing pressure or will not operate correctly, there are a few key things to check. First, make sure the unit is connected directly to a working outlet and that the GFCI/reset button on the plug is fully engaged. Confirm that your water supply is turned on completely and that the garden hose is not kinked, as these units require steady water flow at least 45 PSI to build pressure. It is also important to purge any air from the system, before turning the unit on, hold the trigger for about 30 -60 seconds with water running to remove trapped air. Next, check the spray nozzle and wand for any clogs or debris, since even a small blockage can prevent proper pressure. Also ensure all hose connections are tight and that the inlet filter is clean, as restricted flow can impact performance. For a quick visual guide, we recommend reviewing our Greenworks Tools walks through setup video: (https://youtu.be/jtveo7d_XIo). If you are still unable to get the unit working after these steps, it may require further inspection. Since you have already been in contact with support, we recommend following up; so we can help you better.

    Easy to assemble and use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new GPW3001 pressure washer was easy to assemble and works well. It definitely has enough power to clean a concrete driveway that has not been cleaned in several years. It is light, easy to move and store and less than half the noise of my old Craftsman/Honda gas powered pressure washer. The long warranty gives me peace of mind too.

    Good, but not quite

This is a good user friendly lite duty washer, but by no means does it replace a 3000-3500 psi gas washer. First, using a pressure gauge, this washer maintained 2300-2400 psi with the wand off. Pull the trigger and the operating pressure is 700-800 with the included 40 degree nozzle. It’s not enough to properly operate their surface tool. It drags on the ground due to lack of lift (pressure), so that tool was a waste of money. If you are coming from lower powered electric washers you probably feel this is a nice upgrade. If you are hoping this can replace a moderately speced gas unit you will be disappointed.

Hello DGL1. Thank you for your thoughtful and detailed feedback. We appreciate you sharing your real-world testing and experience. This 3000 PSI unit is our highest-performing electric pressure washer, designed to deliver strong cleaning power while maintaining the convenience, lower noise, and reduced maintenance that electric models are known for. If you are seeing lower pressure at the nozzle, there are a few things that can help maximize performance. Ensuring a strong, consistent water supply is key at least 45 PSI, using a 5/8" garden hose, keeping the hose length reasonable, and checking that the inlet filter is clean can all make a noticeable difference. It is also important to purge any air from the system before use and confirm all connections are fully tightened. For increased cleaning power, trying a narrower nozzle (such as a 25° or 15° tip) can significantly improve effective pressure compared to the included 40° nozzle. Surface cleaners do require a certain combination of PSI and GPM to operate efficiently. Making sure the attachment is rated for this unit and using it on smooth, flat surfaces can help improve lift and rotation performance. We appreciate your perspective, this model is a strong option within the electric category, and with the right setup, it can deliver excellent results for a wide range of cleaning tasks. If you would like help dialing in performance or selecting the best accessories for your needs, our team is always here to help. They can be reached either using the online chat function, on Greenworks Tools page, or by calling 1-888-909-6757.
