Q: Understanding that a box spring is not required, may it be used? If yes, it would obviously bring the mattress higher on the bed, would it look weird/too high with a standard 7 inch box spring?

Good quality while still affordable

We were very picky when buying a bed frame and this checked all the boxes while still being affordable. The box it arrived in was a little beat up and a chunk was taken out of the wood. After some digging we found out how to request a replacement part. That part never did arrive but we realized the damage wouldn't be very noticeable when it was assembled so didn't wait to install. Bed feels sturdy and the wood seems like a good quality. Good purchase.

cute but not sturdy at all

It’s beautiful but… Headboard stripped the screw holes on day 1 needed to drill holes to put our own bolts in. Also feels wobbly when sitting on some parts of the bed. Needs more bottom supports for sure. Purchased the warranty but with babies the inconvenience of taking it all apart and returning it is too much right now, unfortunately wouldn’t recommend.
