durable, if your gifting let them choose
i got the matt black set as a gift from my sister, the bowls are very big, i love that if you nuke something as long as you dont touch below food the dish is not hot, they are heavy and seem to be very durable, i got them in dec and this is march, no breakes or chips and i hand wash. I would have rather had a gloss finish and a deep bevelled edge on the plates verses a rim, but i didnt order them they were a gift. I will order my next set of stoneware so i get exactly what i want, the problem is it might be a long time since this set so far is strong its going to last.

Nice Christmas gift from my son
I like this set of plates very much. It. Was a Christmas gift from my son. However, I gave 4 stars because it’s heavy and if you’re not careful it can chip off very easy. I ended up buying another set because one chipped when I was putting it away. I wish they had more variety of colors. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to buy dinnerware. Very stylish!

I’m obsessed!
I got the 8 set from an amazing family friend off our registry and I’m obsessed. My dad has a similar set that was cheaper and my fiancé loves using them because they are so easy to clean and are esthetically appealing, but these ones seem so heavy duty. I’m excited to use these for the years to come

I found 2black matt plates at a thrift store and I fell in love with this stoneware.I had to get the whole set so I googled the name on the bottom of the plate.I was able to order the exact whole set. I'm so happy!

I've tested this set in the microwave and the dishwasher and they had no issues with either. I've cranked them around against each other on accident and still held up. Good quality dinnerware.

Matte black stoneware
I recently bought a 16 place settings and 4 pasta bowls. The whole family loves it, especially me. The shape, color, the weight of the dishes ( not cheap and flimsy). The set is everything I hoped for. Now all we need are some other matching pieces like sugar and creamer and maybe a serving platter. I recommend everyone to buy them. They came beautifully packed and only one bowl was chipotle and I received a new one in less then a week with no problems
