Q: Could this work with a pedestal sink? Hard to tell if the inside of the cabinet has cutouts for the sink.

  • A: The two shelves are solid and so it's not for a pedestal sink. It works for a wall mounted sink really well.

Dont buy.

Hi, so I bought this item for a sink that is freestanding in my apartment. I was under the impression that it was made for that type of sink not a pedestal sink I was wrong. It is made for a pedestal sink not what I wanted at all whatsoever then to top things off it came damaged. There are scrapes there is paint shipping. The material is terrible. I am not happy and now I have to go through the hassle of returning this very annoying.

Great Cabinet for Wall Mounted Sink!

I am grateful to the other bad review for letting me know that this cabinet was not for a pedestal sink -- manufacturer needs to update that! I am including the photos I wish I had when trying to make decisions on all of these. The review: A lot of parts to put together and I wish they had other styles for a wall-mounted sink other than this cottage look. I replaced the black knobs to silver (but they were very nice quality). Also the top is bamboo and good quality. Unfortunately I have to paint it for it to work in my color scheme, but very happy to have found this. You end up with two full shelves that will fit a spray container and also organizer baskets from the dollar store. All in all a great solution!

Not for use with Pedestal sinks

Inside shelf and bottom piece don’t have the u-shaped cutout, so this can’t accommodate a pedestal sink.
