Not weather resistent

I love this swing for the price point but if even a little weather hits it by any angle it begins to degrade the finish. We have it in a covered arbor but the finish after 1 season is failing.

Backyard swing next to our pool. Varnish / lacquer finish is my only issue. in less than 6 months finish peeled and chipped.

Not sealed

The wood used for this swing is already discoloring in only 4 months. It wasn\'t sealed very well and now I have to sand it and seal it. It\'s made well and easy to assemble.

Definitely Recommend!!!

Surprisingly easy to assemble. The instructions are just diagrams, but they made perfect sense to me. All parts and tools for assembly were included and worked perfectly. It took about 20 minutes to put together by myself. The chain appears to be very heavy-duty, as do the bolts and other hardware. I plan to add a teak sealant to improve water resistance. I\'m glad I caught this item on sale and would definitely recommend it to others based on my experience so far.

Great spot at the back yard.

Finish

After only 5 months in the sun, the swing looks terrible. Shiny finish is almost completely gone. It is faded and looks nothing like it did new. The swing itself is good quality, but now I have to decide what to do about the finish.

I think this swing is great

It\'s very strong, and the pieces of wood are very tightly connected. It doesn\'t come apart easily. And the designer is very careful, it can be placed in the middle of the cup, such a swing I have seen for the first time, really great.
