Some listings even show the full size as 14.8" x 8.5" x 2.8", which includes the handle and height. So yes — it's an 8-inch pan for cooking purposes, but the total footprint is larger due to the handle and rim.

Wont last long
I haven’t had it for long and it hasn’t lasted long. Also, the handle is heavy so when you place the pan on the stove, it tilts since the handle is heavy and nothing is inside.
