The longer size helps to keep the shirt tucked in, even with lots of movement and less than stellar tucking in skills. The sleeves taper and help to stay put under more narrow outer shirts. The tagless design is always a benefit for a skin sensitive teen.

It's a basic white T-shirt, thick enough to wear itself or under a shirt to keep you warm when needed or absorb sweat when necessary. Here's my pro tip: I buy 2XL because I wash everything in hot water. It shrinks down a bit to between XL and 2XL which is perfect for me not to feel like a total fatty. I'm technically between L and XL right now. Nothing is more defeating when trying to lose weight for me than having a T-shirt that is too tight.

Since we dry on the line not in a hot dryer, there was no noticeable shrinkage either. Since it’s all white, we can bleach and not have to worry about fading any colors. The only thing we could improve upon would be if the shirts came in different length options. Being such a small fellow, he felt the shirts were quite long. An option for a shorter fit would get him to buy they again.

The undershirts are made of soft cotton and fit well on a semi athletic build. The crew neck collar trim is larger than other undershirts I have worn. The shirts are cut a little longer than other undershirts I have worn, which is nice since it helps them to stay tucked in. Overall, I would recommend these undershirts to others.

Living up to the Hanes brand, these shirts seem to be made of quality material and held their shape after several washes. It's been a rather hot summer, but the shirts had kept me dry due to their moisture-wicking properties. The sizing is true-to-fit. Medium fit my 40" chest well.
