Frontier Golden Assam Tea is a co-op that produces loose-leaf tea with a distinctive aroma and robust flavor. Each 16 oz. package contains an ample number of loose leaves from India. To make a satisfying cup of tea, simmer 1 tsp. of leaves in 6 oz. of hot water for 4 or 5 minutes. Strain the leaves and pour hot tea into a cup. Enjoy!

I fell in love with English teas when I spent some time there 30 years ago. over the years I have tried to find tea vendors that offer a quality loose leaf. At the time it was difficult to find. This has that lovely malty taste and is organic, which I had moved to about 5 years ago. Great malty reddish cup.

I have been drinking this for several months. The tea vendor I used was unable to get organic Assam as they had previously. At the price at Swanson I thought I should give it a try! It is true English style with a a slightly malty flavor and aroma. A great bargain!

In my opinion this tea is exceptional in just about every way. It's black Assam loose leaf tea which I love, USDA Organic, Fair Trade Certified, and Kosher. This tippy gold is lighter than some of the more robust Assams that I prefer. This one has a more delicate flavour and reminds me that it could easily be served at the Peninsula Hotel during High Tea. I actually fortify mine with some other Assams of lesser quality to make a stronger English / Irish blend of my own. I'm looking forward to other pure Assam teas like this one from Frontier! Well done.
