Q: Are these tea bags coated with microplastics? I just saw a video that showed how tea bags are coated with microplastic bits to keep the bags from bursting in hot water.

A: Our tea bags do not contain any microplastics. They are compostable, Non-GMO Project Verified, Rainforest Alliance-certified and made from both sustainably harvested abacá leaf fiber and wood pulp into a double-chamber design that ensure better herbal extraction (no chemical sealants!) If I could only have one herbal tea it would be This One!
