Q: Directions say to squeeze bag after steeping. Generally you're not supposed to do that with tea, so is there a reason this tea suggests it? Anyone notice a difference in taste from squeezing vs. not?

A: After brewing, we recommend squeezing out your tea bag to get every little bit of plant power and flavor into your cup; we like to use tongs or our Tea Buddy for this.

Q: Are these tea bags coated with microplastics? I just saw a video that showed how tea bags are coated with microplastic bits to keep the bags from bursting in hot water.

A: Our tea bags do not contain any microplastics. They are compostable, Non-GMO Project Verified, Rainforest Alliance-certified and made from both sustainably harvested abacá leaf fiber and wood pulp into a double-chamber design that ensure better herbal extraction (no chemical sealants!) I bought this because I get really bad sinus infections and I just like to sip some refreshing tea. I’ve actually never tried spearmint tea until this. I’ve only had one cup, but man was it good. I just put a spoonful of honey to help with my throat, and it was delicious.
