I’m currently sick, losing my voice & my throat is hurting. This tea really seems to soothe my throat, I use Nates Organic Honey & I slice up fresh lemons & squeeze some lemon juice into my hot tea, for the added Vitamin C & I also throw in a lemon🍋 slice, it’s also cheaper to buy lemons by the bag at the store, instead individually. Overall I highly recommend this tea, I gave it 4 stars, because the flavor is not the greatest, but this tea does work to soothe a soar throat, just add more honey, because that helps as well.

Listen to me, I don’t normally write reviews but this tea is amazing. I had a sore throat last night, to the point it was uncomfortable swallowing. This tea did the trick. I added a little honey but it tastes great. Definitely a staple in my pantry now!

Weird feeling in throat
3 out of 5 stars
Caitlin - 5 months ago
I tried this when I wasn’t sick so maybe that’s my problem… but as soon as I took the tiniest sip it made my throat feel super weird! It lasted for about 10 seconds every time I took a sip. I know it’s called throat coat but the feeling was just too unsettling for me! I’m gonna have to pass. I’m sad bc it did actually taste really good :(

I was pleasantly surprised to find I enjoyed this tea! It has a sort of peppery taste to it and when combined with honey makes it enjoyable and really did soothe my throat for awhile after. I usually don't like the taste of herbal teas, so I'm happy this one turned out nice.

Must-Have For Voice Actors
5 out of 5 stars

When I started voice acting, my vocal cords quickly became overworked and strained. Throat lozenges failed to offer relief, so I tried Traditional Medicinals Organic Throat Coat Herbal Tea. One cup a day for about a week got me back to work. Since my voice gets strained quickly, I drink a cup daily to keep it lubricated. The box has preparation instructions, but I suggest steeping for 11 minutes and adding a teaspoon of raw, organic, unfiltered honey for even more throat relief. I'm not crazy about the taste, but it's not bad-just medicinal. Besides, if something tastes great, it's probably bad for you.

This is my favorite tea, whether or not I have a sore throat. It’s delicious and soothing. I’m not sure if it’s the tea itself or just the warm water that helps with sore throats but I definitely notice a difference. Highly recommend!

This tea seems to keep my throat feeling great in the "high desert" dryness and ever changing weather patterns:)
