I really like this version of the Bodum Kettle a lot. Prior to this one I was using an old style much smaller white pot. The handle was broken in two places and my husband had to reconnect the wiring to post when it shorted out a couple of years ago. I do wish this new kettle had the measure indicator column on both sides of the kettle so it would be convenient for the left handed users.

Heats H20 quickly, takes little counter space.

It boils water. It shuts off after the water boils. What's not to like?

It will boil water in about 30 to 45 seconds. I wasn't expecting a $20 water kettle to work so well, but I love it nonetheless.

Love this electric kettle! It's quiet and boils quickly. It also has a great sleek design that I don't mind having to look at since it lives on our counter. I would highly recommend!

This is a great product for the value

It slowly stopped heating water after a few weeks. I wrote it off to being on uneven tiles on our counter but after 3 months it now does not heat ever. The on button pops immediately after turning it on and no amount of adjusting the base, water level, or angle helps. It’s poorly designed because there is nothing wrong by with the heating mechanism and it will heat water if you stand there holding the button down while the water heats. A pan on the stovetop works better than this hunk of plastic. I contacted Target and they said they wouldn’t take it back and to contact Bodum. Bodum would not repair or offer any troubleshooting help.

This is the perfect size to use in the office, and makes just the right amount for my tea steeper and thermos. Great price and size!

Terrible product, we have had this kettle for 3 months and it’s power button is broken. It will still heat water if we stand next to it and hold it down, but otherwise it doesn’t work at all. Major design flaws! Will not be buying from Bodum again.

Design flaw in this item. Lid pivots on two teeny tiny posts that are molded into the inside of the kettle. The kettle arrived with one post broken off. This cannot be fixed. Hard to understand how an international company like Bodum would market such a flawed appliance.

My wife really likes this and she has another smaller one for travel.

I replaced my old kettle (same model) with this one. Old one lasted three years and then just died without warning. I figured for $20 I had gotten my money's worth. I liked the kettle so wanted to replace it with same one. The new one is okay, but there are a couple of quirks that I don't care for. 1. It seems to be a little larger that the old one. It may not be, but this one seems a bit less slim and trim. 2. The lid sways wildly when I open to fill it - so watch splashes on lid and sometimes out. Old one just popped open and stayed in place until I closed it. 3. The kettle switches off with a very loud "crack". It is startling when I am nearby. Old one just shut off without a sound. I see that some people criticized because there was no sound when kettle cup off. Apparently your criticism was taken to heart. I realize these are minor complaints.....but annoying to me. I preferred the older model. Nonetheless, the new one works just fine.....just with less grace.

Looks nice. Heats water fast. Works as advertised. It is all good.
