A: The parts inside the kettle that touch the water are all steel -- except one part, which is the water level indicator window (which shows the water level from outside). This part is made of plastic as far as I can tell. And, it DOES touch the water. While it may be BPA free, I am not too happy about any plastic touching the hot water. I have added a question to the manufacturer on this forum for more info on that particular part. Looking forward to hearing from them.

A: Hello, Thank you for your question. As with an oven top kettle. You would add the water to the kettle. Place it on the power base and push the on switch. A: Hello, Thank you for reaching out to us. As this is an analog unit you can not control the temperature of the water. Once the water reaches a boiling point of 212*F it will shut off.
