Q: After the kettle boils, what temp does it keep the water at for an hour? I had 2 previous models ..1 cycled the water so it kept it at boiling & the other kept it at about 190 after it boiled.

A: When it has reached boiling, the lights will chage from red to green (the keep warm indication). But as soon as you lift the carafe, the keep warm feature is canceled.
submitted byLatitude42 - 7 months agoA: On average, the kettle will be triggered to reboil the water once it has cooled 15 degrees below the temperature it was set to. For the higher boiling temperatures (ex: 212°F – Black Tea), Keep Warm will activate at 190°F to re-boil the water. For the lower heating temperatures (ex: 175°F – Green Tea), Keep Warm will activate at 160°F and bring the temperature back to 175°F.

A: The overall capacity of the infuser does depend on the type of tea being used and how large the pieces are. The kettle can overall brew 1.8L of tea. Please note, the infuser should only be added to the unit after the water has finished boiling.

My husband was so kind to purchase this as a gift for me. UNFORTUNATELY, first use produced mold in between the heat base and glass. I can't clean it. I can't use this item. Waste of money. I was so wanting to experience fresh infused herb tea.

This model is a great improvement over old one. The tea infuser is much finer & so is the filter in the pour spout. I don't miss the temperature controls b/c I never used them. Doesn't leak like old one, easy one click to boil & love the keep warm setting after boil stops.

Disappointed with the keep warm function. If you pick up the kettle to pour, the function immediately turns off, so if I want to refill my cup in a half hour I have to turn it back on again. That’s no better than my old kettle that doesn’t have a keep warm function. I also timed it, it took 5 minutes, 34 seconds to heat 1 liter of water.
