Always been positive
Solid, plastic holding tea infuser can break after many use and then infuser is not held in place.

Decent
It’s a water kettle. It’s pretty simple to use. Hopefully this one last longer than the last one. My first one lasted four months before ltne glass shattered

Yes
With the select-o-matic temperature feature I no longer have to refer to the recipe for boiling water. A real time saver!

Love the kettle!
When registering the product,I think it could’ve been better if you had told us where the label was located on the kettle; otherwise the product itself works, wonders, heats up really fast.

Lightning 1.8L Custom-Temp Electric Kettle
This is a replacement of the exact model of our last electric kettle. We like the kettle very much BUT the silicone ring inside the old kettle started to melt after a few years of usage. We didn't register it for warranty so we can't ask for replacement. We like the model enough to give it a second trial. We hope that the same defect wouldn't happen again.

Already doesn’t work
My kettle is already not bringing water to a complete boil when using the boil (212 F) setting. This results in my tea not fully extracting.

Nice product
Boils water fast. Live the LED lights. Don't like the keep warm function shuts off immediately even if you take lid off to add tea to steep. And the readout does not say its on keep warm

Easy to use after reading instruction manual. it is not as user friendly as my old Hamilton Beach.
Just bought it. Still getting used to it. Former electric kettle was Hamilton Beach. It had features Chefman does not have. They are: 1)HB had a pop up lid driven by a button on its handle. Way better than lid for Chefman. 2) heating choices were buttons on handle which I liked better. 3)When heating finished, pot shut off; Chefman does not--it is in standby mode for several seconds, then starts boiling again. Like about Chefman: 1)pot is 1.8 litres, HB only 1.7; 2)tea infuser. 3)filter is protected, HB is on lid & is vulnerable to damage.

Great
It looks great and is definitely worth the price. The only thing I would prefer is an on/off button, so I wouldn’t have to unplug the kettle just to turn off the light.
