Breville Temp Select Kettle Silver

We started with a Breville juicer, then invested in the Barista Express and both appliances impressed! A Breville countertop oven/air fryer, toaster and Temp Select kettle soon followed and our kitchen is now almost exclusively Breville. All are high quality products that we enjoy thoroughly!

If you’re a tea sipper or just want to boil water quickly this is the electric kettle to get. I was looking for one for quite some time. I wanted a ‘good one’. First and foremost one that boils water quickly. I take a hot drink to work in cold weather so I want something quick. It has a capacity of 1700 mL or 57.48 US oz. it also has 5 heat settings for various tea leaves/ blends and a stay warm button. I use filtered cold water from the fridge and have never had scale build up. It has a loud 3 beeps when selected temperature is reached. When filled to max capacity with cold water, it takes about 5-6 minutes to reach hottest setting of boil at 212 degrees. I’ve had this kettle for going in 3 years, still like new! It made me a Breville appliance devotee’

I have this now for 10 months and the lid has now refused to open. It heats up the water well and works quickly but I can no longer fill it with the lit open.
