-twist the applicator tip to open
-If applying after shampooing, towel dry hair before use.

I actually like the product, and find that it helps with itchiness and flakiness. However, the size of the bottle, directions of applying it not more than 3 to 4 times a day (I find twice a day to be sufficient) and the cost to be a little disproportionate. The bottle should be larger considering those who have a larger area to cover, the small bottle will not last making it a little pricey for what you get.

I've been using it for a week and don't see much of a difference yet so we'll have to see if it helps but I did want to point out two negatives which are it definitely leaves your hair feeling gross and looking greasy and you feel the need to wash your hair more, which defeats the purpose. It also smells heavily of rubbing alcohol so I checked ingredients and alcohol is there, which I was surprised because alcohol is a drying agent and you would think make itching worse.

I’m a young AA woman who’s been dealing with CCCA for the past year and a half. I was getting scalp injections at my dermatologist and used all prescribed medications (oral & topical) to stop my scalp irritation. But none of these treatments worked! This winter my scalp became drier and itchier than normal. I use 'clean' shampoos and conditioners, but that didn't seem to be the issue. And, I thought I should mention, as an added bonus, I like the way the shampoo smells. Just a clean smell. And my hair seemed to have more volume and was very soft.
