Worst dandruff shampoo ever.
Soothing? Hardly. Most medicated shampoos let me go a day or two without washing again. This one has me itching before the end of the first day, no matter how much I rinse my scalp. The cloying scent makes it even worse. Terrible product.

I previously tried several other shampoos for dandruff, but none of them completely solved my problem. It wasn’t until I started using this my dandruff fully cleared up. A shampoo is a shampoo is a shampoo, unless it's super awful for some reason - otherwise, I mostly just expect them to you know - clean my scalp - but I gotta say that this was a really great experience, especially compared to the standard H&S which is what I've been using lately (out of laziness - just grab what my hubs is using), I tried this because I liked the idea of less crap in my product, and maybe there's something to that (I know there is - but noticeably something, I mean) - cause it just felt like a really refreshing wash - there was something easy about it, in the best way.

Good for textured hair - hydrating & calmed inflamed scalp
Super curly/kinky dry hair with a history of scalp irritation. I tried this on a whim last year and was pleasantly surprised — almost no more scalp issues since then AND the shampoo is super hydrating! I sometimes skip conditioner since my hair is so soft after using this shampoo. The only detractor is that the bottle is literally 2/3 the size of the bottle I bought before and the price is now higher.

Great Product, Packaging Challenging
I really love the “Head & Shoulders Bare Shampoo” itself. It works great for my hair and scalp, and I appreciate the effort to create a product with more environmentally friendly packaging. That said, the packaging can be challenging to use - especially toward the end of the product. Because of the design, it becomes difficult to get the remaining shampoo out of the container, which can feel a bit wasteful. I understand the intention behind the packaging and support the environmental goal, but a design that still allows users to easily access the last portion of the shampoo would make the experience even better. Overall, the formula is fantastic and I would definitely keep using it. With a small improvement to the packaging usability, this product would be perfect.

Good shampoo, terrible container
Does ok with my scalp. Many times dandruff/seb derm products will have ingredients that actually feed the yeast so it's pointless, but this seems to be ok. That said, THIS BOTTLE is stupid. I'm looking for another shampoo because I can't stand working with this ridiculous excuse for a bottle. Once you get to the last of it, it just crumples and refuses to stand up and it's a pain to try to get the last of the shampoo out. Fix the bottle and I come back.

To effectively control these symptoms, it's crucial to use Head & Shoulders a minimum of 2 days a week for at least 6 weeks. For optimal results, we recommend using it every time you shampoo. I tried a bunch of expensive shampoo at Ulta, and no joke, this shampoo was the winner!
I have thick, fine slightly wavy hair that runs on the dry side. Most shampoos either weigh my hair down or leave it dry and frizzy. This shampoo does not. It smells good, lathers very well (you don't need much!), is clean, and does not dry out or weigh my hair down. I do use a lightweight leave in conditioner after, but even without the leave in conditioner, this hydrates well and doesn't tangle my hair. Someone on here wrote it makes your hair greasy, will this is the hydrating formula, so if you have oily hair, there's a different formula for that hair type. This stuff is amazing!

Bye bye dry scalp
I bought this because i felt like the original kept drying out my scalp making my dandruff worse. I Immediately noticed a difference i only use this on my scalp and use a different shampoo on my ends so i haven’t noticed the residue everyone’s talking about!
