Flame grill
I’m very pleased with my new Z-Grill. This is my second grill from Z-Grill. I’ve always enjoyed cooking with my grill but I enjoyed a charcoaled steak and with this new grill I get the best of both worlds. The smoked flavor and the texture of a grilled steak.

Flame elite 600D3E-gen2
I bought my z grill since they have years of experience. I felt I would be getting a better quality grill, since it was a second generation. The contour of the lid doesn’t fit the grill body. They promptly sent me a new lid, it did fit better than the first one. The gap is about half of the first one. Smoke leaks out of the lid gap and stains all the stainless parts, which is part of the reason I picked this grill. With so much leakage the grill has a hard time holding temperature and tries to over compensate and fluctuate temperature constantly, which mean it burns an excess of pellets. I wanted a small efficient grill with nice clean stainless look. I’m not pleased with the price point of this grill with the issues I’m having with fit up and leakage.

Set up was easy. Start up was easy. Smoking has been great. Could use a larger grease drip pan. Seems the one provided should have a wider top. Much of first couple of smokes the grease didn't all hit the bucket. Suggest a gasket around the lid to let less smoke escape.

My First Z Grill
This was my first pellet Z Grill and I was excited to use it. It took me about 3 hours to unbox and put the grill together, a bit more time than I thought it would take. I had a problem with the argue not turning at all. I was able to find some help on YouTube and was able to take the fan enclosure apart and notice that the argue fan was wrapped around the wiring preventing it from turning. After a small modification and a zip tie the argue motor was working as needed. My first use of the grill included smoking a ham which I had no issues with. I am happy with the grill and can't wait until I can use it more.

Caught on Fire Multiple Times
This grill is dangerous! I used it a few times and it was okay and then it caught on fire - burned and damaged inside and out! Tried it again twice and it caught on fire both times again - fire spread to the hopper. The hopper is also too small on this grill to actually use it for smoking more than a few hours. The directions read that you have to turn it completely off when the hopper runs out and let it cool down before adding more pellets.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Instructions are not specific enough. They do not tell you how many of each item to use. Especially section 3 dealing with mounting the Hopper to the Chamber. Otherwise, the grill works and smokes perfectly.

Satisfied with the results so far. Have made ribs and a tri tip - both very good! You have to pay attention to your pellets as hopper not as big as other grills.

Great smoker at a great price

The only reasons for 4-star review and not 5 is the lid of the hopper is a thin gauge of steel and is warped and doesn't properly close, the other issue is the plastic clips that hold the magnets on the storage doors melted within 5 minutes of firing up the grill.

Solid Grill
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I enjoy my 600D3E. I've only had it a couple weeks, but I've made fantastic salmon, venison, swordfish, and veggies, among other things. There are a couple minor design flaws, such as the plastic holding the magnets for the door melting off during it's first use. Also, the cover for the hopper does not sit flush. Design flaws aside, I would recommend these grills.

I wish I would have switched to a pellet grill sooner. The base came damaged but customer service was able to resolve the issue quickly and efficiently.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Went together well, first use was great. Have grilled ribs, chicken, and round steak. Added stand alone temp probe and sealed lid with gasket. Only cons are China built, lid fit is off by a bit bend not enough. All else is good, wheels are nice, added wood spacers to keep handle cooler.

The grill was relatively easy to assemble very in depth directions. Just used it for the first time today. Easy to light and set temperatures. Watch for flash sales . The handle gets warmer then i like but dosen't burn . I wish the temp setting was mor accurate then every 25 degrees
