Description
The Carex Raised Toilet Seat adds 5.5 inches of height to the toilet seat to assist handicap, seniors, elderly, those with bending or sitting difficulties, hip surgery patients, knee surgery patients, and anyone with difficulty bending down to sit on the toilet bowl. The comfortable, contoured toilet seat riser features anti-slip rubber pads for stability and provides a wider, more comfortable seating area. A raised toilet seat that fits most standard and elongated toilets. Toilet riser adds 5.5" of height to the toilet seat without having to actually remove the toilet lid. Toilet riser has a contoured seat that is wider the most for added comfort. The toilet elevator features slip-resistant rubber pads for stability.

New indentations on the Toilet Seats
Indentations on Caress Toilet Seats are great! They make newest seats much more comfortable than the previous style. The old ones were just doughnut shaped however these seats are the answer to making hip replacement so much easier.

Carex Raised Toilet Seat
I was replacing an older version of this seat. It is very safe and fits into the toilet nicely so there is no slipping when using it. It is about the same as my previous one. Just one comment, there are some marks on the plastic with little indentations. Looks likes flaws in manufacturing, but not worth sending back. I will just have to be careful to clean it thoroughly.

The extra height (5 1/2â€) makes it easier to raise myself up off it, and it stays in place pretty well.I never feel unsafe.

Problem with riser
The tallest seat riser that I purchased has a rough area on the inside where the top and bottom meet. I have purchased one of these in the past but did not have a problem. I hope this one doesn’t crack in that area.
