Free up desk space with MI-7136 and store your keyboard and mouse below your desk. The keyboard drawer offers ample keyboard and mouse space and stows away when not in use. The dedicated mouse platform can be installed on either the right or left side of the keyboard platform. Slides out easily with smooth steel ball-bearing glide tracks. The 3 different height levels help you position it ergonomically. Sliding clamp securely locks your keyboard in place.

Q: does the tray have a locking mechanism after sliding out to prevent it from sliding back in?

  • A: Hi Dennis, thank you for your question! The Mount-It! Keyboard Drawer is designed with smooth steel ball-bearing glide tracks for easy movement, but it does not have a locking mechanism to hold it in the fully extended position. However, the tracks are designed to provide enough friction to keep the tray stable during normal typing use.

A hard won victory

Very easy to put together. Instructions are simple but concise. The makers must assume, however, that you are able to flip over the desk or table you intend to install it on. In our case, that would have been an impossible task. So began several grueling hours of myself kneeling and holding up the keyboard underneath the desk, and my companion lying underneath the desk, attempting to screw in the pieces. The ordeal was worth every agonizing moment of knee and neck pain. The keyboard tray works perfectly, smoothly sliding out from its rails and the mouse tray slides out easily from the side. An excellent purchase.
