Q: It says recommended mattress height 6-8 so a 9.5 inch mattress is no good ?

Too much gaping and movement

Easy to put together and like that you can choose which side for chimney accent. The planks on the bottom just slide around and lay right on the floor. The frame is a bit bigger than full mattress so there’s always a gap on top or bottom. Side railings sit above mattress so have to keep pillow there to avoid injury. Don’t love it, don’t hate it. Simple, not great.

Love this
