This was much more heavy duty, and better made than I anticipated. Great stand and so far has been excellent.

Great mount for a laptop, however the laptop tray itself wobbles a bit from left to right. This allows the laptop to be tilted a bit. I can manually push it back into place, however it doesn’t seem to be something which can be fixed or adjusted.

This Laptop stand is easy to assemble and easy to use

working well to hold my lap top at eyelevel. Plenty of tilt - which you need to keep the keyboard of the laptop from blocking the view of the desk surface (so far I just have the lap top on it in the desk center). Its HEAVY. Not sure it the arm needs to be so massive but it does need to be strong so maybe thats how it has to be. The plate that holds the laptop seems absurdly massive. Adds to the load on the arm quite a bit. They should offer a light weight version. The only "miss" is there is no tilt (that I found) to make the screen vertical. it tends to tilt a tiny bit. but its acceptable. Part of the reason for the heft is to keep it all aligned but with such a massive arm and then the holder itself is impossible to be perfect. All in all though I like it. it doesnt stick out the back of the desk much which helps with small desk. I got it about 3" behind desk back edge - in order to get laptop far enough away. This could be less if the vertical arm were place further to the right but my setup wont allow that. These mounts (all of them) face complex geometry and design vs use case choices. This one looked to fit my situation best and its working. I'm going to see if a 2nd arm will fit in my setup to hold a small 2nd screen.

I use this arm to raise my laptop so the screen is next to my external monitor and the webcam is at a good height for Zoom calls. I use an external keyboard and mouse so I'm not concerned with the height or angle of the laptop's built-in keyboard or trackpad. The laptop mount does everything I need it to. And it's a good value for the price point. The cons: The laptop shelf doesn't have any way to hold the laptop in place other than gravity. Velcro, bungee cords, or rubber bumpers would hold it more securely. The arm is held in place with bolts that you need to loosen with an allen wrench if you want to adjust the height. So this isn't a great choice if you plan to adjust the height often. Use an articulating laptop mount for that instead. The laptop shelf lets you adjust the tilt angle forward and back but not left and right. Mine slants a little bit to the left, probably because I've got the arm extended toward the left. As a result, the laptop screen is neither perpendicular to the floor nor parallel to my external monitor. The mount bounces quite a bit on the rare occasions when I type directly on the laptop. I like that the mount comes with both clamp and grommet mounting options. This mount has all the same hardware as a monitor arm and could be used for that purpose simply by not installing the laptop shelf. The parts I received looked identical to monitor mount MI-2751 plus the laptop shelf.

I went through two 'mounts' (of another brand) in well less than two months (ie super cr*ppy construction) so was again burning daylight looking for a solution.... Enter Mount-It! This mount is STOUT! I only need to (currently) support a compact keyboard I use when working from a pen monitor so this mount is a wee bit of overkill ... and I'm good with it! On top of the epic construction quality there's three different mounting options with all hardware/tools included less perhaps a small phillips head screwdriver. Plus there's an adhesive pad which can attach to the mount in order to protect the surface finish of whatever you mount the stand to. Overall material and design is good. I'm using this next to a desktop standing desk. So I need my laptop and docking station to rise and lower as I use the laptop monitor as a third screen. It would be nice if the height adjustment screw was also a knob for adjustment instead of using the Allen Wrench each time. The second improvement would be with the platform the laptop rest on.. mine rocks back and forth and I can't seem to find where I can tighten it to stop this. I believe it is how the extension arm and the plate attach, there is space between the two and I believe this is were the rocking happens. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. I'm only a week into using, so we will see how well it holds up to the numerous times I am raising and lowering during the week.

Highly recommended. This is built well and has a thoughtful design. Perfect for my application on a trading desk/station. Get one... you won't be disappointed.

The materials are high quality, and fit well together. However, I cannot rate this product any higher than 3 stars because there were no assembly instructions included in the package (I looked everywhere three times). Maybe these instructions are never included -- I do not know

Fairly easy setup and worked great for my treadmill. Stable and well made

I am using this stand to write right now on my laptop. It was very easy to assemble and it is very easy to adjust. A very great investment at a very low cost.

Sometimes the laptop tilts slightly to one side or the other.- The part of the tray that stops the laptop could have been a big higher. There is some risk of laptop slipping if you are not carefulSince I don't need to move the laptop around this mount works for me.

This was much higher quality than I was expecting. The metal is all heavy gauge, the instructions are clear, and they even provided needed tools! The laptop tray mounts to the arm with a VESA mount, so you can directly attach a monitor as well.

Really just wanted the laptop arm to mount to an existing pole that holds a monitor.
