Finish Quantum Dishwasher Detergent Tablets

We've used Finish Classic tabs for over 10 years to great results, but they seem to be discontinued. Other reviewers suggested this Quantum variety might have minimal scent, but I found it to be strong, unpleasant, and lingering. The scent holds especially firmly to plastic lids (LDPE) for many days, and transfers flavor to food in contact. We've had similar problems with scent with Cascade. Quantum also seems to be harsher on the finish of dishes and prints on glassware than Classic was. Finish looks to be finished for our household.

This was my favorite dishwasher detergent. I bought it for years because I love how it cleaned, but MOST importantly it didn’t leave a scent behind on my dishes that I could taste in my food. I switched from Cascade to Finish for this reason. Then last fall I received a bag in my Subscribe & Save and noticed I could all of a sudden taste the fragrance. I was disappointed and started shopping around for a new dish soap. Recently I got to the bottom of my pod bin and there were some ancient Finish Quantum pods in the bottom (from before the change). Dang, I was once again sad to remember how well they cleaned with ZERO scent residue left over. I’m still trying to find something that compares. Please oh please bring back the old formula!!

These tabs work the best in my dishwasher. I like the tub for easy closure since typically when we get a new pack, if I open the bag (or tub) and leave open under the sink, for the first two days, the chemical smell is very overwhelming. Wish they were more natural with safer ingredients but I’ve tried a number of natural other detergents and these work the best for cleaning dishes and removing residue.

Great product and actually cleans

This is our go-to brand for dishwasher detergent. Gets our dishes clean without leaving any greasy film. I also like that these come in a sturdier container to store over a flimsy plastic bag.

Best dw tabs! No streaking on glass and minimal rinsing required.

White residue on my dishes and dishwasher. I have never experienced this before. The worst dishwaser pods of all time

Plastic dishes smell and leave bad taste in the mouth. a lot of forums are a buzz about this. Subsequently we're looking for a different brand. my imagination tells me some bean counter trying to save money to improve his bonus but in turn has the opposite effect similar to Boeing

Finish has been my favorite dishwasher detergent for years. The last 6-8 weeks with the last two packages I have bought, I have noticed all my silicone items and nonstick pans taste like soap. Nothing has changed on my end so I can only assume the detergent formula has changed. Will be changing detergents now to find one that doesn’t make my dishes taste like soap. Hoping everything isn’t ruined.

The cleaning is still good, but now it seems they all smell like a urinal cake. WHICH MARKETING GENIUS THOUGHT THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA?
