It came with some dings and scratches I was disappointed in that. There was a small piece of wood chipped on top part of cabinet

Looks just as described. I see many reviews about the doors not closing properly but you have to adjust the hinges. There are screws on each hinge that allow it to go closer or further. Otherwise it looks as expected to me. Took me about 3-4 hours to get this completed. Instructions aren't as good as one would expect but common sense will guide you through it easily.

I was a little worried about this piece arriving damaged but it was well packaged. You need to take your time following the instructions when building the? piece and make sure that you don't over tighten the screws. Really like the pantry now that it's built

I wanted something that would fit in the hallway where my laundry and pantry are. I wanted it to blend in well with the other things I have there and look good when people pass by. I thought this would do well.....but it actually is absolutely perfect. Looks better in that space than I thought it would. It's the perfect height, width, depth that I was looking for and makes that whole area look more refined. It's very sturdy, well made, and comes with a wall mount bracket (that I'm not currently using). The assembly was super easy. I did it by myself, except for the backing. Most of the time the backing goes on last and the piece is laying down flat while you hammer on the backing. These instructions have it sitting upright and you have to install the backing like that because all the hardware was already on by then. It was definitely a 2 person job, and not as easy as it would seem. That's the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Otherwise, I absolutely love this piece.

I love the product but installing the doors. You should provide some type of guide to make the doors hang on the hinges evenly. It was a nightmare doing this.Other than that everything was great but that isn't a small thing. I am just a handy guy and stubbornly will make sure it is even.

I like my cabinet a lot. I am a 65 year old woman and I put it together myself. It took me 3 nights but it turned out awesome! Just took it one step at a time.

I am so pleased to be able to add attractive storage to my downstairs apartment. My Homcom cabinet is so perfect for the space it fills. It offers a lot of clean space for my dishes. I had help with assembly and it took us about 1.5 hours to assemble. Next time I know exactly how to do the assembly. I plan to order another in a few weeks! Instructions for assembly are clear and each piece is numbered. Its not solid wood, but it will do a job. Ok for the money.

Just what I wanted wish directions to put it together were better

I usually don¡¯t write reviews. But when I saw some people complaining about this item, I thought would give my opinion.My purchase arrived three days earlier than expected. I was surprised to see two good sized boxes. One of them had some damage to the end and along one edge. So, I took a careful inventory once I got them into the house. All the parts and hardware were present and undamaged save a couple of minor dinged corners. I would later learn that these dings were on hidden edges or corners after the thing was assembled.I¡¯ve assembled a good number of products over the years and this one was a bit challenging but not the most difficult I¡¯ve worked on. There are lots of parts. Mine were all labeled with a small sticker. Which was nice since other products have had large stickers that were difficult to remove. Start to finish it took about two and a half hours to complete.My advice to anyone considering purchasing one of these is¡It is not fine furniture. Pay close attention to the diagrams. Take your time. Don¡¯t over tighten any fasteners. Add a spot of glue to the dowels. Aligning the doors is a bit fussy but well worth the time. I worked alone but a helper would have been useful at a couple stages.What could be better¡Instructions are just a series of diagrams. While everything was clearly labeled some written instructions could be helpful. That¡¯s why I say pay attention. Once you sort out which way around things go it¡¯s simple. The back of the cabinet is a sort of fiber board and is in multiple pieces. Not much of it shows from the front but it seems a bit flimsy. Not a deal breaker though. My kit was a few nails short for attaching the back. I had plenty of small nails on hand so not a big deal. It would be nice to have the option to mount the handles vertically or horizontally. Since holes are pre-drilled you have no choice. Unless you want to re-drill new holes and fill the original. It wasn¡¯t that important, so I didn¡¯t bother.Overall, I¡¯m pleased. Time will tell how well it holds up.
