Buyers beware
It stoped working on the aux side, 2 months in. You can get a replacement but you have to pay for shipping to return the old one, what’s the point when it broke from a manufacturer standpoint. If I broke it, I get it,

Defective, does not charge, by design
Belkin is trying to trick you into buying a defective product. It DOES NOT CHARGE. It does "slow charge" on my Pixel 7a when plugged directly into power. On my 2024 iPad pro, it says "not charging". When I called Belkin, they claimed neither the new iPad Pro nor the Pixel 7a are on their list of compatible devices for this product. Where is this list of "compatible devices"? Certainly not anywhere you're likely to see before you buy this defective, deceptively advertised trinket. Who would ever expect that something like this would only charge a few specific models of phones and tables, and not be "compatible" with most others? I expect Belkin won't publish this review but it's worth a try, so save other people the frustrating of accidentally buying this item expecting it to work. I'm also posting similar reviews elsewhere.

Disappointed
It does what it was designed to do. However, I have several problems with it. First, when I'm only using the headphone jack, my phone's battery is drained at an alarming rate. I have a brand new Iphone, which I assume many people looking at this product are buying it for. If I leave it playing audio through the 3.5mm jack without plugging it in, with the screen off, it drains battery at the same rate as if I were streaming video with the brightness at max. I just feel like it shouldn't use this much power. Second, if I plug it in to a charger with a high wattage, say, a USB-C laptop charger or high-wattage fast charger, it doesn't charge the phone, and the audio coming through the headphone jack has noticeable noise. Third, when using headphones, occasionally there will be some brief static when the adapter gets shifted. Not a dealbreaker, but on top of the other issues, it's annoying and I think it's worth mentioning. Finally, I just don't like the way it looks and feels. I think that it's too bulky, and it doesn't feel as premium as the price should warrant. Overall, I don't recommend this product at this price. If it were a quarter the price, I really wouldn't have minded these issues, but at the price I paid I expected to receive a premium product, and I don't feel that I did.

Did not charge, 35 mm connection sometimes works
Got this to use in my car since it doesn't have Bluetooth. The charger does not work at all. When I connected the 35mm jack to my car it was all crackly, eventually got sound to come through my car speakers, but charger doesn't work. Tried it in the house connected to my charger and I tested the charging cable I use in the car. My cable was fine this adapter was a waste of money. Belkin usually makes better quality products, either I got a bad unit or this one is poorly designed.

Charge time is doubled with adapter
Using this adapter with my "MY PHONE" doubles the charging time compared to just using the same power source and cord without the adapter. This was without even using the headphone port. For the price it should be able to do better than this. I'll really only use this now when I need to keep some power to my phone but also have to keep using my 3.5mm headphones (such as phone calls). Disappointed

so good until it wasn't :l
i bought a pair of wired headphones and i needed this device to connect it to my iphone. i was using it every day on my commute and only about a month or 2 it stopped working: it would be connected to my headphones but playing on my iphone speaker... my phone would recognize it was connected but it still would play from my phones' speaker. i did a lot of troubleshooting with my phone, and I actually thought it may be the headphones, but indeed it was this device that was faulty. this morning i plugged the adapter into my portable charger and the charger did not pick it up. :( i am exchanging this one (in hopes i got a lemon?) for a new one, the adaptor options on the market are limited if you prefer to use wired headphones

Will NOT transfer DATA - and that's a GOOD thing!
Works well, but the best thing about it is that the USB port will NOT xfer DATA, will NOT SYNC, and CANNOT be used for Backing Up the phone. It ONLY charges the battery. It is for POWER ONLY -- not DATA. When I plug it into my computer, the computer does not recognize the phone as a "connected device". (Also verified on the Belkin Website). And that is a GOOD THING - read on. Why is that a GOOD thing? Well, now I don't have to worry about using a charging port at the airport, cafe, or other place where the "free" charging port may have been HACKED to access the data on my phone while I use the "free charger". One less thing to worry about!!!!

Always breaks
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Always breaks after a few months (bought it twice and it failed both times). Also, if you contact customer service to replace it under their warranty, you have to pay to ship the broken one back. Never buying a Belkin product again.

Great 2 in one dongle

Works great, no drivers needed on the IPad (pro or not,,,) I suspect that both their usb-c and lightning models work equally well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The adapter works ok with our Pixel 6 as long as the charging port is not used. Plugging in the charging port creates a lot of noise, so it is not usable to play and charge at the same time. After failing with this adapter I bought a Bluetooth to audio adapter and it works much better and was much less expensive.
