ThermoPro Twin TempSpike 500FT Truly Wireless Meat Thermometer with 2 Probes and Signal Booster Bluetooth Meat Thermometer iOS / Android compatible

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We haven't been able to get this to work properly, which is disappointing, because we were very excited for it.The black probe won't connect to the app. The white one did, but as soon as it was put in the oven, it stopped connecting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m pretty impressed with this thermometer system so far. There are a lot of useful features in the app like setting an alarm for when the meat reaches a certain temperature and it also gives an estimated time until it reaches that temperature. Being able to also see the ambient temperature is super helpful too. I’m spending less time constantly checking in on the meat and grill temperature and instead I can just glance at my phone or the base to see where the temperatures are at. There are a few small things that I think could be better though. I’d really like to be able to store the charge cord in the case to keep it all together, but there’s no space for it. Also the probes are fairly thick and you have to stick them pretty far into the meat which means these don’t work well for smaller/thinner cuts. The user interface on the app also isn’t the most intuitive, but I’ve figured it out the more I use it. None of these are major issues, just some small things I noticed. Overall, it works really well so far, holds a good charge, connects easily, and makes grilling easier.

So far it seems to be very accurate and it works on just about anything. Having two separate, wireless prongs makes it a game changer! Love it!

It’s easy to set up, easy to use, put in your desired temperature and it notified you when you have reached that temperature. It also tells you the ambient temperature of the oven, which is really nice because I found out a lot of ovens are not calibrated to the correct temperature. It’s preset to 212 degrees maximum for meat temperature and over 572 for the ambient temperature.

Connectivity was simple, range great, moved from pool to spa and to house but battery life could use some work. It died before our 6lb pork butt was finished. But all in all it was a great tool for our bbq.

The ThermoPro Twin TempSpike Wireless Meat Thermometer is a super handy gadget for anyone who loves grilling, smoking, or roasting. It comes with two wireless probes that track both the inside of your meat and the ambient temp around it! I used it this past weekend for father’s day when I was grilling and it worked quite well. While the ambient temp can be a little off sometimes and there's no Wi-Fi, it’s still a great value.

The instructions are straightforward, and I was able to download the app and connect my thermometer seamlessly. I plan to use it within the next few weeks, but just testing it with the ambient air and sticking it in food in my kitchen, the temperatures read immediately and seem to be accurate. I’m also able to easily see the screen with the temperatures clearly labeled, there’s even a quick and easy button to light up the screen for when you are cooking in the dark. All in all, I think this product will help me cook my meat to the perfect temperature!

I bought this for my husband for Christmas, just in time for him to do the prime rib on the grill. He loves it! He was very happy with this digital meat thermometer. I would recommend to family and friends.

Died part of the way through smoking a whole chicken. Would not charge. Not sure if it was a faulty item or just the quality of the product; either way returned it.

I love this meat thermometer. It works great and is very reliable. It charged fast and the battery keeps on keeping on. I won't say that i am a professional with meat, but this thermometer makes me think I am. I would rather cook my meat over done just to sure it isn't under cooked. With this I dont have to worry if the temperature is correct. It is nice to know the meat i am feeding my kids is cooked thoughly without being over cooked. The app make things so much easier.

Super easy to use with a simple, straight forward display, this thermometer has been a great addition as we kick off grilling season. I love that you can recharge it, don’t have to worry about replacing batteries, and it’s easy to clean. Having two temp wands is nice too. Highly recommend.,

I owned a "wireless" ThermoPro TP810W before receiving this device, and while I did like that model I have to say that this is SO MUCH COOLER. It's truly wireless, the probes communicate to the booster unit completely without wires of any kind. I don't actually eat meat, but I cook it for my family. I always strive to get it right, I don't want to over or undercook any meats at all, I want everything to be perfect. This Twin TempSpike probe set has taken every bit of guesswork out of cooking meats. It's super easy to use, I love the design of the booster and how it charges the probes as you charge the booster, very cool! Getting the app downloaded and the probes paired was very quick and easy, no issues at all there. The app has a lot of features and settings, it's simple to navigate. I have used the probes to cook steaks to a few varying levels of doneness, they all came out exactly as they should. I used it today to bake a pork tenderloin, that came out perfectly tender and juicy. The set includes a cable for charging and a handy cleaning brush for scrubbing the probes after use, it makes clean up a breeze. The booster is magnetic so I can stick it on whatever it will stick to wherever I'm using it - the stove, fridge, grill, anything metal. When your food reaches the target temperature you will know - the alarm sounds come from both the booster and the app, and it is LOUD. You can change the alarm tone if you wish. I have zero complaints, nothing but great things to say about it! I genuinely love it, I think it's really cool and definitely recommend it!

This has been great when grilling multiple items! I love having double probes. I also like that the alarm goes off prior to my meat becoming overdone. I also like being able to see the estimated cook time left! A great tool for any griller!

It was convenient to have the Booster with Standalone Display, and viewing the temperatures was made simple by the backlit LCD. Having dual sensors and twin probes allowed me to see exactly how my turkey was cooking, which was nice. Being wire-free was a huge benefit, and using the Smart App made it even more practical.
