Defective Lid
We typically love these bottles. However, my kid dropped and broke the lid on his while we were in the middle of moving out of state. I picked a new bottle up and upon washing it I noticed the flip part of the lid is defective. There are two wires sticking out and they will not go back in the little holes. Fortunately we have 9 other Owala’s and this is the very first time we’ve had an issue.

After owning a handful of Owala's they dont hold up
I’ve had this water bottle for about a year now. I made a complaint to Owala about mold right on the piece where the mouth seats. This isn’t in a creased area or hard to clean area. Owala said it was normal wear. It is not. I own to many water bottles to count and this is a first. And it’s almost all of my Owala water bottles now. None much older than a year. It’s gross and makes the bottles unusable. At the cost of these water bottles.. more than a year use should be expected.
