  • A: Mine has dropped many times and never leaks. You must make sure you have the lid securely screwed on to the cup and then you will not leak.

    These are really good water bottles for my kiddos. Helpful details: spill resistant (when cap is closed), durable, and leak-proof (unless you somehow dent the snot out of it) My only thing I would change is more creativity on the names. Like instead of “Cake Pop” call it “Cotton Candy Explosion,” think about it Owala and get back to me.

    DONT ORDER ONLINE FROM TARGET

    The items themselves are usually great but this is mor about Target shipping ethics. Multiple times I have order in the past year as I customize Owalas and every time I say I will never order online again. Well its my fault for being so busy where I cant go to the store physically to pick the best of the worst condition bottle after all the other degenerates have mishandled them. First, they ship with FedEx. Which everyone knows there is already an 80% chance of the item being damaged. But Target takes it a step further and sends it without any packing material whatsoever. So when Fedex Hiroshima's my box onto my doorstep, there is now a 150% chance that now my items are so damaged that its insulting to even open the box to check if its worth my time. Unless you're ordering clothing or something soft, dont order online from Target as the care and attention to detail is clearly dictated by the compensation standards they have for the people that pack your items.

    Durable and funk resistant

    This is the perfect size for my preschooler! She loves that we have matching water bottles! I don't understand the bad reviews because we have had various versions of Owalas for a year now and they all hold up well and are resistant to funky smells and mold growth! After many drops, none of them have broken. Some small scuffs happen, but I'm not sure there's a water bottle that wouldn't be scuffed after drops onto asphalt or concrete. The functionality is not affected in any way. I love the fun colors and the ability to mix and match lids and straws is a plus too!
