my standard twin mattress is four inches too short and two inches too narrow for this frame. when i set up the frame i noticed i have to move furniture that previously had ample space for a regular twin size bed frame by it, but for some reason this ISN'T a regular twin size bed frame. I would have returned this had I put it together and found this out within the return period, but I didn't, so I'm warning you to not make my mistake.
