Coast Polysteel 700 800 lm Black LED COB Flashlight AA Battery

I bought this flash light for work. I needed something versatile. I work as a utility repair crew leader. This flash light has become my favorite work light it's survived being dropped in a few water filled holes. Being caked in mud and clay and dropped countless times. I lo e the magnetic base for it. I'll stick it on the side of my work truck and read with the side lights or use it as a light to work hands free. I also love the red light feature. It's good at night for helping traffic when needed. I will be getting a second one soon because mine is becoming popular. My only complaint is it seems to like batteries. I think that's the battery makers fault though. If it came in a rechargeable version I would invest in one real quick.

Coast has long been my favorite brand, and this model is at the top of my list. When I misplaced the first light I really missed it and bought two more so I would always have one on hand. I really appreciate that this light does not have a strobe feature and all the features work well for my use. It's a great light for every tool kit.

Its an awesome tool to have in yo toolbox or bag. Excellent quality. I own several Coast products for my guys including head lights as well.

This flashlight is a rugged example of Coast products that casts a lot of light in the cabinets I work in as intended. Enough illumination is present from reflected light (when the side illuminator is activated) that most objects are visible enough to zero in with the main beam as needed. Versatile.

What is with the misleading packaging, largest print 1590 lumens? How many elderly people have you duped? The switches, the worst of any similar light on the market. All other lights including Coast’ have adult sized buttons that are easily found by touch. These antiquated miniature buttons actually put the user at risk of bodily injury should this light be urgently needed. Why does the forward light button have so much travel? You botched this one team. Send me a refund,

Outstanding Warranty-- Great product for all around lighting needs

I own around ten of these flashlights mostly for emergency situations at home and while in the outdoors. They are insanely tough and reliable. I have one caveat though. I would redline to be able to take the work light straight to the solid red setting, If I could do that this light would be perfect in every way. Love these lights.

It’s a great light light weight and durable I like the focusing beam and the area lights

Can light from alkaline 1.5V, NiMH 1.2V or Li 3.7V - 3 battery choices. Buttons hard to find in the dark: I shimmed the battery so lanyard lines up with switches. Complain: back of cardboard container lists 1000 lumens but the web site 800 lumens. Container shows models 30300 for 1000Lu, 30351 for 800Lu web lists only SKU 30294. So is the light 1000 or only 800 Lumens? The PS700 is great, only wish I had it 30 years ago.

I bought this flashlight months ago and very pleased with it. The main light is very bright, the secondary lights are very useful, the magnet is very handy. The only issue I have is the on/off switch for the main light needs improvement. Aside from being on the small side, operating it is difficult. I have to press it at a very specific angle with the tip of my finger in order to cycle through the modes. If that feature was improved, this would be the perfect flashlight in my opinion. Maybe Coast can work on improving that feature.

Poly steel 700 it's a great light when it works. I've had I believe 6 so far originally bought 2 and have gas 4 warranty replacements due to failing buttons and lights

Had this flashlight a very long time, and when it stopped working suddenly, the company replaced it immediately with no questions. This flash light lasted a very long time before having to be replaced. It is amazingly good quality.

I really like the several ways that this light works--different intensities and also area and hazard light. It also feels solid in the hand

When I ordered it i originally thought it was smaller and I didn’t realize it had the work lamp. If I did I probably wouldn’t have purchased it. But once I received it I figured I’d give it a shot at work the next day. This immediately became my main flashlight the work light feature is a fantastic feature for my line of work along with the inspection light. It’s tough it’s fallen from top of refrigerators multiple times which leads to my only complaint and that would be the magnet could be stronger. It wont hold it parallel on many common metals used in my industry.

I bought this light a few months ago, and fell in love with it. The magnet at the bottom is a super awesome when you need to go hands free!

This was my first Coast products and I have been a Coast fan ever since. Great sturdy flashlight, magnetic base is great, and it is has a lot of lighting options including flashing red side lights. Would have been 5 stars if the on/off toggle did not break on my first one. I will add that Customer service warranted my product and sent me a replacement no problems. Have not had any issues with any other Coast products. Would highly recommend any Coast product!

Got this light thinking it was an average flashlight but, it goes above and beyond the normal ones. Good strong magnetic end and excellent work light when I need it in any situation.

Love this light! My first one went bad, but Coast is AWESOME with their guarantee and sent me a brand new one! The light is powerful and rugged and the strong magnetic base makes it "stick" where it will stay. The focus on the front beam gives a nice wide spread of light and the three different settings is handy, as using a lower setting will save battery power, (which lasts a long time any way) The side LED's were the main reason I bought this light. It's great for any situation. The only thing I would suggest, is to make the buttons another color, as the black buttons blend in. I find myself spinning the light to find them - I put a piece of white tape on my first one and will do them same with my new one.
