I have purchased this in the past and it is yummy, but I stopped due to high glucose. If the tapioca maltodextrin (which raises blood glucose) were substituted with something healthy, I would buy again.

I liked this in the winter months as a hot drink, even though it is a bit too sweet for me (so I just used less than the package said to use). When the weather got warmer, I still wanted to get the mushroom benefits, so I made it into chia pudding: 1/2 cup Laird hot cocoa mix, 1/2 cup chia seeds, and 2 cups coconut milk (I'm sure almond or oat would be great also). Whisk it together, spoon into separate bowls with lids (I made 5 servings) and refrigerate overnight. Enjoy alone or with dry cereal, sliced fruit, nuts, pumpkin seeds, etc.

This is one of my favorite hot chocolates. It's rich and creamy, and has a great chocolate flavor. I love the healthy ingredients and feel like I'm doing something good for myself and my family while having a treat! A keeper!

I really like this Hot Chocolate mix- super easy to make with just hot water and its a treat- especially when you can't have dairy. There are no artificial flavors/emulsifiers (which is part of the awesomeness), so there can be some clumping, but a frother mixes it in very easily.
