Not worth it

These seemed like a great idea. But, the pieces just don’t fit together in a satisfying way. My build-loving 10-year old and I tried copying the rocket ship design from the cover and it kept collapsing before we could finish it. The squares don’t snap together like the larger ones do. This was a miss for me.

These little magnets are fun and easy to transport. They are thick and durable, but not as easy to build with as the full size magnets. My kids enjoy playing with them, but there aren’t many pieces included and the creations are not as sturdy. Not sure this was worth the price tag.

This is a compact travel sized version of Magnatiles that is easy to assemble, and the tin is also a handy base for building the tiles on. I wouldn't give this as a gift to someone with young kids, as the tiles are quite small and might present a choking hazard, but it is perfect for older kids and adults also! I bought several to give as stocking stuffers.
