Company that makes this item clearly lacks any quality control. Item delivered was damaged and a replacement was sent out. That was damaged as well. You could tell some damage was known and cheap repairs were made. Ended up returning due to poor quality and bad workmanship.

Missing parts and tools

1. They tell you that you will need a flat head and Phillips screwdriver. What they don't tell you is that will also need a drill. 2. The Cam locks are not going into the pre-drilled holes without a drill. The holes are way too small. And many of the Cam locks do not seem to tighten properly. Note that cam screws have to go in "just so" to the proper depth or the Cam lock will not lock. On a couple of them, even after several tries, that thing just was not going to lock and had to be left off. 3. Although there are preinstalled drawer slides, on mine at least, the left side "sticks" and does not slide smoothly. It literally has to be "shoved" to close and "yanked" to open. And yes, the drawer is correctly on the slide. The problem is that the slide was apparently installed incorrectly. This is very annoying and for this price should not be an issue. 4. Instructions are pretty clear--there are written instructions as well as pictures. All pieces are clearly marked. And there is extra hardware (which I needed because I broke a couple of the Cam locks). 5. Assembly is challenging (but less so than for the cabinet, which I also purchased) and took a long time. Some of the Cam locks didn't lock well (even after dealing with the hole drilling issue). Other screws didn't seem to tighten securely in the wood. Also, some of the instructions aren't quite accurate. When they explain to do X, Y and Z on one side, and then "repeat" for the other side, they don't mention that once you have side 1 done and installed, side 2 can't be done in the same order. You have to "intuit" that. So if you are not experienced in assembling furniture, you may find yourself having to take something apart and redo it. 6. Once assembled, you will not want to deal with disassembling this thing, repackaging it and taking it back if you are unhappy with how it looks. So proceed with caution and eyes wide open. For me, it looks decent and will serve its purpose of replacing a funky, old coffee table at our mountain cabin and providing storage. But for the price I am very unhappy about that left drawer not opening and closing properly.

I thought this was a nice table at first, but after a little more than a year, the top piece is VERY badly bowed and does not lay flat. Because it's been over a year, Target will not refund any part of the purchase price, and replacement parts are not available. Do not waste your money.

Nice looking table. Took a little over an hour to put together and was pretty easy to do. My only complaint is that the back panel of one of the drawers is shorter than it needs to be so it looks wrong. See attached photos - one photo is of the inside of the lopsided drawer, and the other photo is of the back panels of both drawers side by side to show what it’s supposed to look like. The drawer on the left is exposing the hardware and the other drawer on the right is perfectly flush perpendicularly against the other board. Both drawers are functional but the one with the short back panel just looks flimsy.

We needed a coffee table on the smaller side and this appeared to fit the bill. The color of stain was spot on and it looks really nice in person. We are very pleased with our purchase.

The color it doesn't look anything like the picture. The distress is very stripey and I hate it. Took my husband 2 hours to put together for us to want to return it. Not worth the money!

Easy to put together, has some good heft to it.
