It’s a little smaller then I thought and the quality isn’t what I’d expect from Target. It’s thin and looks like it will fall foward with the slightest weight. I received it damaged, the corners of 2 of the panels were chipped. Unfortunately I didn’t notice until mid assembly, which was time consuming. But putting this in the car to haul back to Target requires more effort than it’s worth to return. If day PASS…. Find another option for a grey shelf.

Stronger

This cabinet is placed at the head of my bed. It is big enough to hold some books and my daughter\'s toy dolls. It also holds my cell phone alarm clock. It is very beautiful and not messy! It is very sturdy!

User friendly assembly

This is a nice mid height organizer; the assembly instruction sheet is simple and straight forward, it took me about 30 mins to put together. The uneven levels of the shelves make it very easy for all sizes of books and items. It is surprisingly stable even without a backer, all the corners stayed square when moving around.

Mediocre quality!

Assembled to discover loose affixed parts. The assembled shelving is unstable causing leaning. I\'m assuming it\'s the size. I ordered the small size by accident. I intended to aquire the larger size. I believe the larger shelf may be more stable.

This was easy to put together and is super cute. However, it is an odd size. I put a 40oz Stanley next to it for a comparision. I am trying to figure out a way to make it less akward in my office :)

Dont waste your money

Terrible! Took forever to build, once built it was not even. The wood is not strong enough and started to crack. I returned it and got a normal book shelf. It’s also smaller than what you think it might be.

I'm a happy camper. This isn't for a fancy home but it fit right in for us. Instructions are pictures only so paying attention is key. I just can't get over how cute this is. We are going to find something for a backing piece because of cords showing.

Good overall

I was super excited for this bookshelf, and overall I like it, but I am glad I didn't pay full price - definitely don't be a dummy like me and trust the model pictures! Look at the dimensions before you purchase. Turned out to be maybe half the size I had anticipated and that's being generous. That's my fault tho for not taking time to check dimensions. Probably my biggest complaint would be that the stickers they provide to cover the hardware are the wrong stain, would have been better for a slightly darker wood. So you can tell it has stickers on it if you look harder than just a glance. All in all I'm satisfied with this purchase, but it's definitely not worth any more than about $50.

It is worth to have

Finally, I assembled the bookshelf and put it in a suitable position. The size is just what I need. My son chose the gray color and he likes it very much. Overall, the effect is good. It has seven different grids that can accommodate items of different sizes. So you deserve it if you happen to have such spare space in your home.

Received a returned item

I received a previously returned item and quality control failed the repackaging. All labels for pieces had been removed and were randomly stuck to a ziplock bag of hardware. All but 4 of the 44 woodgrain stickers were gone, so my bookcase shows every metal piece of hardware and just looks a mess. It took quite some time to figure out pieces and put the thing together, I can't imagine taking it all apart to return it. Super bummed with the lack of quality control. I even received the previous owner's Amazon return slip in the box. The item is completely fine and functional, but looks terrible without the woodgrain stickers to cover the hardware. Wish I had returned it before I put it together.

Very Comfy

Bought 2. They look great. Sleek and modern. Very comfy. And feels sturdy enough. I’m 220lbs and my husband is 260lbs and they feel totally up to the challenge. they are a great buy for the money.
