They are Orange! Use stain
Nice item. Easy to assemble. I stained them dark brown- easy fix. They are REALLY Orange in color. They also are not watertight, one seam at bottom on both is not a tight fit so water does come out the side and bottom when you water plants. Otherwise they would have gotten 5 stars. Because they were on sale the value is good, Howe full price, not so much

Good Height
It is a good height and would be a great height for us to use to plant veggies. It seems pretty sturdy and certainly is nice looking.

Good product, but requires assembly with poor instructions
The end result is what I expected, but, the product description isn\'t clear that it requires assembly. It talks about installation, but IMO that means putting it into use, not putting it together. It comes flat packed and requires 39 screws to assemble, so you\'ll need a power driver (careful using a drill with a lot of torque, the wood is soft) or pretty strong forearms. As far as the installation goes, be careful, the instructions are not clear about what parts to align where and the orientation of the end caps (which are slightly wider than they are tall, but not enough to notice if you\'re not looking for it), which is critical to it going together correctly. The mitered top edge is not very obvious on the end caps and you need a gap on the bottom to recess the bottom plate into. There are notches on the bottom of the sides where the cross braces go, but they are not noted on the instructions, so you don\'t know which way is up or that a gap needs to be left at the bottom. If you don\'t read the entire instruction and understand where the gaps need to be for the next steps, you are likely to have to pull it all apart and start over (I only had to pull one screw out because I realized it quick). Once you understand the process, the assembly is easy. I bought 4, after the first it was quick and easy. The screw holes are pre-drilled and recessed and the screws are good quality and tap well, again, use something low torque because I could easily see them pulling completely through the outer panel if you run it through with too much torque. A nice add would be some kind of mesh over the drain holes to keep soil from pouring out of it..

Exactly what I need.
I recently purchased this planter, and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed with it. First off, the installation was a breeze; it took us less than 20 minutes to set it up. What makes me even happier is that the wood appears to have undergone some sort of treatment to extend its durability, which is exactly what I was looking for in an outdoor planter.
