Vornado VMHi300 Heater: Portable Electric Space Heater, Adjustable Thermostat, Metal Frame, 1500W, ETL Listed, Gray

The Vornado is throwing nice hot air. On the 2 previous Vornados we had, the on/off switch went bad after about a year. We've only had this new one about a month......so we'll see how long the switch lasts.

I had a space heater for over five years from this company and it worked great .. I have three heaters here including this one that are garbage ,, I am embarrassed to complain because we cut two cords last year ..

Bought unit to replace another heater unit that was not heating. Unit works fine is quiet does the job well.

This heater is well-built, quiet, and produces enough heat for a large room. It is obvious that the unit has been built well: quiet operation, cord management, solid knobs, tip over security, and a casing that remains cool. Highly recommended.

I have purchased three of these for different rooms of my house, to augment the GFA furnace. Rugged and quiet, they put out a fair amount of heat, as long as you are in relative proximity to the unit and as long as the doors to the room beng heated are closed. Because I live in an old house, I run mine on the lower heat setting (to be kind to the electrical service). If you are looing for a blast-furnace-garage-like portable heater, you should probably skip this one. Otherwise, especially on sale, it is a good deal.

The design and features are as near-perfect as I could wish for: It's almost completely silent. The high/low power feature is essential for small RVs with limited load support. The heavy-duty cord and plug stay cool to the touch, and the wall outlet stays cool. Safe metal construction. Easy-clean intake filter. Instructions are clear and helpful. This very handsome and well-built product allows me to shut down the camper's gas furnace at night, not only saving expensive fuel, but also enhancing safety and reducing noise. The bedroom was never this cozy and I'm sleeping better. The only reason I came here today was to buy another one for my workshop. May I commend your design team on a job well done! The VMH i300 has gusto & good-looks! It is effective in quietly warming up a small-medium size room in short order. I use it on low for the living & dining area. Like the warranty & metal crafting. When it goes kaput some years from now, I can easily recycle.

I have had seven (7) different Vornado heaters over the last few years and this Heater is actually the best one I have purchased. If it wasn’t good I would not have purchased it. Always had good luck with Vornado.

The face of the heater got hot but the fan seemed to do very little. I have two other vorando units, my wife like the VH200 model the most. These other units do not get hot but circulate warm air very well. I was really hoping to like this one as much if not more than the others.:(

I just got my VMHi300 yesterday. My bedroom is 10 by 14 with a 10-foot-high ceiling, poor insulation (built in 1920), and no storm windows. At an outside temperature of 34 degrees this heater warmed up the room withing a few minutes at the 750-watt setting and the thermostat set minimum. I'm happy and my 3 cats are happy! Its heat array is not a direct burning heat but it’s not so overly wide where it feels like a cool fan. It’s just the perfect spread of warmth. I love the convenient handle on the top. And it has space in the back for the cord when storing. It’s a very simple operating setup - knobs. Hi/low fan and then a sliding knob of temperature options. The only thing it doesn’t have is a timer feature or a remote. But for a classic and simple to use heater, this is a great option.

I purchased this for use in a partially finished basement. Living in Michigan and working from home- I needed something to take off the chill in the basement. This heater is great- warms up the entire room in less than an hour. Quiet operation. If you want a simple no frills heater that works- I recommend this.
