Kichler Lighting Pallas 6 - Light Chandelier in Black

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This chandelier is gorgeous! Clean lines that are classic but still make a statement. Very easy to assemble and install. The amount of light is just right for over the dining table. The way that the sconces are allow good lighting without blinding anyone seated at the table.

This fixture replaced and older 5-light chandelier in our breakfast nook that was starting to look dated. This fixture has completely changed the look of the room, it’s modern, but too modern, and has a great build quality to it. The shades aren’t flimsy and the light output is great.

The installation was easy with all the hardware included n the box. It has multiple hanging options that is convenient depending on the celling. .I like the traditional black finish with the white linen shades and that they can be removed for a more classic look. It is the perfect touch in my dining room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing you’ll notice when you lift up the package is that it is incredibly lightweight. I was surprised because it’s a relatively large box (packed securely in foam), but was so light to pick up, which will also make it super easy to hold during installation. The flat black finish has no flaws and looks very modern, even with the shades coming across as a bit of a throwback in style. The package includes 3 six-inch rods and 2 twelve-inch rods which allows multiple hanging options depending on the height of your ceiling. The wiring is standard black/white/ground and all the hardware is included. Installation is easy for this light. The frame feels solid even after pivoting each arm from the shipping position to the display position. Each shade is placed over the socket on each arm and is held in place when the bulb is screwed into the socket. Depending on the bulb, it could allow for some movement, which would be my only complaint. They will stay in place if not touched, but it would be nice if they had pressure springs, screwed into the frame, or tightened with a nut, because mine allowed for slight movement even with the bulb securely tightened. Maybe I’m not using the correct bulb, as I used candle-style bulbs from the old fixture that I had on hand. It is not a huge issue and could be solved with a trip to the store for a rubber gasket or tape to make the shade fit a little more snugly to the frame. Overall, I am very happy with the quality of the light, it will look great in my dining room.
